The install went reasonably fast and though a bit of dust and dirt was left behind, the work was done to completion without major fit hassles. Unfortunately what we thought was a good product turned out to be a disappointment. The unit, quality wise, is just ok but the real disappointment, we did not realize, is the unit does not have a countdown timer. My wife utilized that feature constantly in our old unit. Based on the hassles and cost of replacement we will live with it but LG truely cheaped out on an essential feature. Hard lesson learned.

Have to keep flashlight on counter to see the panel at night. Does not quick start feature. My 20 year old microwave offered more.

Broke after one week

I have not had good experiences with LG products except the OLED TV I purchased. This is just one in a long string of bad experiences with LG products. The unit fits well where I mounted it. It is approx 4" less tall than the Maytag it replaced. Only wish it held up as well. After one week the turn table stopped working. While waiting for the service company (Which 4 weeks later will get to the repair) I have used the microwave without the turntable operating. The unit seems to heat stuff up just fine. Just wish I had listened to my better judgement and bought anything other than LG.

Also bought it because of the multi layer cooking levels, but did not know that the metal rack must be removed each time if not cooking multiple items at the same time.It's a large rack and difficult to store since I don't often cook multiple items at the same time.You are posting a picture of purchased product.

Technician came out to "adjust" or "tighten" twice before replacing the handle. Within 3 months it loosened up again. By then, we just didn't want the inconvenience of having to report it and waiting around for a technician.
