Looks beautiful, plenty of space, very quiet. The only thing I am still getting used to is the left door, since the ice maker is inside this door, the door is heavy and it slams quite easy, door needs to be hold until you close it The power cord is short. I noticed a gap on the back, looks like it was bumped. The delivery guy said "it is nothing, but you can call to exchange" look at the picture. I know is not easy to maneuver a heavy fridge but we paid a lot of money and expected for our fridge to have no damage at all.

This was just installed a few days ago, so here are my initial impressions. I like the look of the fridge. I like that the ice maker has been moved to the door, it leaves more shelf room in the fridge. However, I’m not sure if it’s the weight of the ice maker in the door or what, but that left door slams shut. And I mean SLAMS shut. Which is shocking every time it happens. Makes me jump every time. You have to remember to hold on to the door as it closes in order to guide it to close slowly and without a sudden bang. I have 3 small children, I will have no luck getting them to remember this. Thus, I know I cannot keep anything glass in the small shelves in the door. Additionally, the slide out gliding drawer inside the refrigerator needs a redesign. If you can’t open both the fridge doors fully backwards, it hits the door and you’re only able to access the front half of that glide out drawer. This is my problem bc the left side of my refrigerator has a wall next to it. I cannot fully open the left door backwards therefore I cannot open that gliding drawer fully. If they would simply redesign the top of that drawer to be a dome shape that you can open up (pull the top upwards) I could still access the back of the drawer even if I can’t fully pull the drawer out. But, it is a fixed flat top. My last refrigerator was designed with the dome top you could open up and boy I sure miss it. Also, I do not like that the bottom freezer drawer does not have a light. Why not? The top freezer drawer does. And lastly, when I saw the floor model in the store it had an on/off button for the ice bin in the top drawer of freezer. My understanding from the sales associate was that controlled whether or not I wanted the fridge to make the ice for that freezer tray. However when I received the fridge, there is no on/off button and I read instructions that say you have to manually dump ice into the freezer bin. So I don’t understand how LG can make an update to the fridge but keep the same model #? Now I’m wondering what other changes have been made (any corrections?) that I didn’t get as it seems I have a down level/older version of this fridge?

Just installed it so not a lot of wear on it yet. I love the look of it and it has tons of room. Still working on organizing the shelves for our family. I love the two drawer freezer. And the ice cubes are smaller!!!! Love that. So far the only thing I don't care for is that both doors aren't self closing. The left closes without having to manually push it closed while the right bounces back. But at least it has an alarm to tell you that the door is ajar.

Besides having to make sure that you close the doors with force because they tend to stay open. The ice maker is small. I’ve been having to buy bagged ice because the production of ice is small and slow even when using the ice plus option. I have a family of 5 and if we use ice for lunch …. For dinner only 1-2 of us will get ice from the maker before it’s empty. I would recommend they make the ice maker bigger to make the fridge worth the investment.

Overall a good fridge. I prefer the fridge w a middle drawer. This one you have to open the whole top (both French doors) to open the inner large drawer where we stored most used foods kids grab. The shelves are glass do you can see items. The side baskets on the doors are reasonably sized. Its been about 2 years and the Ice maker might be going out. It’s also very small ice maker cubicle. Never made it through a dinner with everyone home without running out. The freezer space is pretty on point. I do like that!

Best Buy installed our fridge a few weeks ago, and we've been quite happy with the fridge. It has great capacity in the fridge and the freezer. - The thin ice maker does, indeed, save a lot of space. - The two freezer drawers have allowed us to organize and access our frozen food like never before. - We also really like the french doors for accessing food without having to open the whole fridge. - The french doors don't require as much space around the front of the fridge as single-door units need. Our last fridge (single-door) would hit our chairs by the kitchen island. With this fridge -- which is wider and more spacious than the last one -- we open the doors and have room to spare before the chairs by the island. We can be sitting in the chairs without fear of being hit if somebody opens the fridge door. :-) - The water and air filters are easy to access. - The ice maker is easy to open and access. It creates enough ice for daily use. For parties, you'll likely want to empty the bin (LG provides a freezer bin/pan for just this use-case). - Some customer reviews report this fridge is noisy. Usually, we don't hear any noise. Once in a while, the compressor kicks on for a few seconds. If the room is quiet, we'll hear it. The same is true (as is the case with all fridges I've had with ice makers) when the ice maker dumps cubes into the ice maker bin. Overall, though, we don't notice noise from this fridge. A few minor downsides: - The deli drawer is nice, but it runs the whole width of the fridge. This means you have to open both french doors to access it; that's inconvenient and lets a lot of cold air escape. - The delivery team told us to run a gallon of water through the filter before trying to drink the water. We ran at least that much but found the water tasted a little like plastic. We had to run a few gallons to clear the taste. - The ice maker has an on/off toggle switch; accidentally turning it off when opening the ice maker door is pretty easy. Keep an eye on it (especially if you know you'll need ice.) - The stainless steel finish looks great -- from the front; only the front and the sides of the doors are stainless steel. The side is a textured, dark gray finish. Our fridge sticks out past the cabinets and an inch or so of the fridge unit (before you get to the french doors) is visible. Thus, we can see a bit of the unfinished side -- this isn't horrible, but you should be aware that the sides are not stainless steel.

Great space. The double freezer doors take a little getting used to, but holds sufficient amount. Had a few concerns from other reviews about noise, but not an issue at all. Only reasons for 4 (and not 5 stars): -The left refrigerator door is a little heavy due to the ice maker being attached. -Have to click a bottom to change from water to ice dispensing Other than that, I've had the unit for a few months and all is great so far.

I prefer LG appliances. My fridge stopped working while I had covid so I ordered this one online. Fast delivery, 2 days. As I expected it works great. There are big differences from my other LG. I choose the two drawers because digging thru the large bottom drawer was always annoying. So I like that. The doors on this are very light so they don't close unless you make sure they do. There is an app for that, but it's useless. You have to open it up for it to tell you the door is open. It's more chintzy made than my other LG, but that was purchased in 2012. It does not have a butter cover shelf which drives me crazy. It also has only one glass shelf that slides. I can fill tall water bottles, which I could not with my older one. Since I was not able to go into the store to see it, I'm fairly happy with it. It was also a good price. Plus I'm sure it will last at least a few years as all my LG appliances do.

We replaced our old Kenmore Elite Trio with this refrigerator and while I love the look of it and the interior cubic inches is spacious, I feel like both bottom drawers retract by themselves when you are opening them to get something out. Also, I’ve noticed that the left door that houses the ice/water slams shut if you don’t guide it closed. The door ice compartment is a bit small for my family if 4. I initially bought a 10 lb bag of ice from the grocery store and emptied it into the bin in the top freezer drawer. It held the entire bag and solved the problem. Other that these small issues, we really enjoy this refrigerator.

I have owned this for 2 Weeks. This is the first time I have had a LG product. Everything is working fine we are very happy. The great part of the unit is the space. Their is so much room in the refrigerator I can find anything quickly. It is nice having 2 freezer trays, it keeps everything organized and very easy to find. The only issue is the right refrigerator door does not close automatically, but this is the design of all LG units French Door Units. It is not a major problem. Nice that there is a beeper noise when any of the doors are left open. Their were some reviews that the ice maker in the door was limited on ice making. I find that not true I have more I than I can use.

Got this new refrigerator from Bestbuy. There was a small dent on the bottom freezer drawer and bestbuy promptly replaced. Refrigerator works great so far, it’s only been couple of weeks now. Couple of things could have been better: The bottom most freezer drawer doesn’t have a light. The right side door does not close automatically when you give a light push compared to the left door.Other than that love all other features especially spacing on left door due to the ice maker consuming less space, the fact that the first freezer compartment can be adjusted to make it refrigerator and notifications on your mobile app if the door was left open. Overall we felt it’s a good purchase and serves well for our family.

The door slams shut because the ice maker is in the door. Ice maker doesn't make much ice at once, also because it's in the door. When it was first turned on, it took several hours to cool down. We connected it to WiFi thinking there would be a way in the app to turn on a quick cool mode or something but there wasn't and, at least for this model, the app doesn't do much at all. Overall, it's ok.
