Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the 27UL600-W monitor's exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and impressive HDR performance. Many also find it to be a good value for its price and easy to set up. However, some users note limitations with the stand, lack of built-in speakers, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The absence of height adjustment is also a point of concern for some customers.

Beautiful monitor, expensive compared to others
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this monitor and my gaming PC from another vendor. But this monitor is so beautiful. I have had it 1 year already and it has never given me problems. The only complain is that it is wider than I expected, so make sure you check your measurements. Other than that, I love the colors and the quality this monitor produces. When I bought it, it was expensive, so make sure you get it when it is discounted.

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the display daily for about 6 months w/ a MacBook Pro via USB-C to HDMI connection and it's been flawless. The color accuracy and performance are solid and I would gladly buy it again. This uses the same panel as the other LG27-ULXXX monitors, but lacks the adjustable stand and USB-C connection found on the higher end models. The stand that comes with it though is pretty lousy so I highly suggest picking up a VESA-mount articulating arm.

Gets a great picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The instructions in the box are not adequate. You need to go to their website and download the driver for Windows 10. Once I did this, I got a great picture from my Surface Pro, before I did that it was not acceptable. Nothing about neeeding to do this is included in the box. You can control the brightness and contrast from your desktop, once you have downloaded the app, once again, not mentioned in the included instructions. Also I didn't realize it had no speaker. Ultimately, I got the great picture quality I was looking for.

This monitor shows promise despite flawed stand.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to say this, I don't like the stand. If I could adjust the height of the monitor that would have been a plus. I had to make some adjustments to the HDR, Windows somehow keeps turning HDR off by default but with some tweaks hopefully the option for HDR in Windows 10 stays on. My overall experience was fantastic but you have to have patience. My games look amazing with HDR enabled along with the higher resolution.

Awesome display
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this monitor for several days but I can already say that I am in love. The color and sharpness of the display are fantastic and I have noticed any lag in anything I do on it. I don't use it for games right now, but doing day-to-day tasks and watching movies on it output a great experience. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking a quality 4k display.

Overall great monitor for photo/video editors
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this monitor’s beautiful display quality and it’s color accuracy. Super simple to use, and I love that it has an AUX out for my external speakers. My one wish is that the menu was easier to use, and that brightness was quicker to change and/or automatic. It takes much longer than it should to adjust the brightness should you go from lights on in your room to lights off. But that is something I can learn to live with for the other amazing parts of this display.

4K for Good Price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: For the price its pretty good for a 4K monitor and general use. FreeSync extended is pretty good. Image quality is great. VESA mountable. Cons: Not great for gaming at 60Hz. The bottom corner bezels are a little wonky. If you apply a small about of pressure it will temporarily change the screen color in the corner of the display. This is annoying when trying to readjust the monitor's position on a desk mount.

Nice step up from the basic monitors.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice resolution, bright display. Only a sRGB gamut, I didn't check, my fault, hoping for something a lot better, dang. Great price. The base does not work for me. Often, I like to slide forward my keyboard to review some papers, etc, but the base sticks out in front of the monitor providing no room for my keyboard and papers. Contemplating a monitor desk mount or a wall mount. Am now searching for a different monitor with a better gamut, but this is a very nice monitor.

Easy Setup - Great Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've come to rely on LG monitors for ease of setup and quality of view, and this one didn't disappoint. Just needed to replace an older Samsung monitor and so used the opportunity to replace with my favorite brand of monitor. I use this as an extra monitor for my 2019 MacBook Air and works great. I was looking for a monitor when this one went on sale so I jumped on the opportunity.

Very good overall, interface isn’t ideal
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality of this monitor is outstanding. The interface is a little bit goofy, which can be a pain if you have two computers hooked up to it like we do. Switching back-and-forth isn’t easy or quick. That said, it’s been great for every day use, and is perfect for photo editing, which is mostly what I use it for. i’m not a gamer, so I’m not sure how it would do with fast-moving things.

Nice 4K monitor for price albeit 1 major annoyance
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good 4K monitor for price. Try to grab one when on sale. Overall satisfied with the purchase. One major flaw/issue. Can’t get the post of the stand removed to install on a swivel stand. Annoying!!!!! Still looking at sites YouTube for an answer on how to remove. Other than that screen is beautiful. Still haven’t seen monitor of this caliber for price.

A Good First Step Into 4K Monitors
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor to pair with a 2019 Macbook Pro and use it mainly as a primary display with the computer in clamshell mode. I mainly use the monitor for general use (work tasks, internet browsing, media playback) with some light photo editing occasionally done on it. Thus far, the monitor has held up well and performed as well as I expected it to, with a few minor hiccups. The IPS display is clear and the colors are accurate enough for the tasks I perform most often. The minor issue I ran into concerns the connection between my computer and the monitor. I use a USB-c to DP 1.4 cable as a connection, which started out working perfectly well. However, recently when I set the monitor to a 1.4 input, I lose the ability to change the resolution to above 720p. Switching the port to 1.2 on the monitor returns the resolution choices up to 3840x2160, but I lose the HDR capability. While I notice a difference without the HDR, its not a complete deal breaker and I can use the monitor without too much complaint. I picked up this product around Black Friday, so the price was a bit lower than it is now. However, I still believe at the current price the monitor to be a very good value; especially so if you don't already have a 4k monitor setup. Overall, this monitor does the majority of tasks the typical person needs to do well and is a particularly good option if considering your first 4k panel.

Excellent for PS4 Pro
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor with a specific purpose in mind: Fps gaming for my PS4 Pro. I switched from a Sony 4k tv (XBR49X830C) to this monitor. I gave this LG monitor a chance because of the faster response time (7x less) and HDR technology that wasn't available at the time I purchased my TV. It was worth every penny. I primarily use the PS4 Pro for gaming and leave Netflix and streaming services to my Sony TV. Immediately saw an improvement in accuracy (higher by a little over 20%). I'm not a pro by any means but at least now when I miss I know it was me. Funny enough it has decreased my stressed as well. No longer "I know I hit him. My crosshair was right on him." Since my LG purchase it's a comforting "GG. You got me." More headshots. Better sniping. I'm a happy guy. Notes: 1. If you use cable provided, When you turn on PS4. Monitor turns on. When you turn off PS4, monitor turns off. 2. No audio on this monitor. Don't care cause I use headphones directly to the PS4 controller. Just know you can't double up this monitor as a TV without a set of speakers. Bought it for a specific purpose and it has served me well so far. No regrets on this one. LG, if by any chance you read this, make one in all black, please?

Perfect monitor for designers.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a MacBook Pro user, this is the perfect companion for my machine. 4K produces sharp thin lines and crisp text. HDR feature shows great colors that are near accurate, and is configured out of the box. It was easy to set up. Size is perfect, large enough canvas that I don’t have to turn my head left to right. Very happy with this monitor.

Worth a buy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this monitor. I got this along side an Alienware Ryzen desktop with a 2080 Super. It’s easy to use and makes my gaming experience a real pleasure. I also picked up a Bluetooth speaker because THIS MONITOR DOES NOT HAVE SPEAKERS!!! Just keep that in mind. I knew this going in so it’s all good.

For my Xbox One X & MacBook Pro
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really nice panel. I'm using it with an Xbox One X and a MacBook Pro and I'm very pleased with it so far. There's no USB-C port on this particular model, so to connect a Mac you'll need a USB-C to Displayport cable. HDMI works with a USB-C hub, but only at 30 Hz, which is no good. The color accuracy and calibration of the default "Vivid" picture profile is pretty darn close to what I see on my MacBook and iMac retina displays, so it's quite good. The reds tones are slightly different, but it's close enough that I'd feel comfortable doing design, photo and video work that requires some reliance on color accuracy. Contrast is good. Text is crisp and easy to read. My brightness is currently set at 70, which is more than bright enough for me. There's a headphone jack in the back and a single 4-way button/nob under the LG logo in front for volume control and access to all your other display settings. It's very easy to use. The Blu-ray DVDs and the 4K videos I've streamed look great, and so do the 4K HDR games I've played so far. As a casual gamer, this monitor checks all the boxes at a reasonable price and provides me with a great secondary display for my Mac.
