Our LG G5 OLED HDTV is the best television I ever owned. The picture quality is truly lifelike, especially with 4K HDR video sources. Even SDR streaming channels are upscaled and look better than my prior television. Justin at the Oxford Valley Best Buy helped me piece this system together with a Marantz Cinema 50 receiver, and Geek Squad did a phenomenal installation. Many times, with this tv, it feels like you're looking out a window and not viewing a screen. Our family room is very bright, and this set performs well day and night. I highly recommend this G5 OLED, especially with the current sale pricing.

As in the subject heading, "Wow!" is the 1st word that comes to mind. An incredible picture which is saying something as this TV was an upgrade from the LG CX that I purchased in 2021 and that was a very good TV. The G5 is very bright and upscales HD images extremely well. The G5 really shows it's quality when watching UHD and/or HDR content. Well worth the investment.

Probably one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Went big and it feels like a movie theater. Really bright and dark at the same time. 2 nd LG that I have come to love

Beautiful image. Very sharp and excellent contrast. Added a high end sound bar which is really required for TV like this.
The only issue I have is the remote control. I think LG needs to rethink this on the G6.
Mounted on top of cabinet with stand. I did not want it wall mounted.

The OLED picture is fantastic and the Magic Remote is truly magic. It automatically gets the access codes of various other pieces of equipment, i.e. DVD, Cable Box, Apple TV, etc. You.tube videos were very helpful in adjusting the various tv parameters for the best picture. I would recommend that LG prepare a self-launching video when the tv is first powered-on to walk the user thru various parameter adjustments.and remote use.

I am extremely impressed by LG. First of all after doing lots of research on all available TVs at this time the LG is by far in the lead. The LG G5 77” has an amazing picture. Combined with a quality German sound bar with subwoofer you’re going to have an amazing experience whether it’s a TV show or a movie.

Upgraded my old LG OLED 65” for the 77” G5. After 8 years my old TV picture started showing burn-in. This new TV is a major improvement. Incredible brightness, great contrast and the size is prefect for my room. I looked at Samsung S95 and colors were way too saturated. Sony was also a good alternative but at an extra $200 I decided on LG.

Fantastic tv except for 1 thing: HDR contenta applies to the TVs UI.
This means that even turning the volume up, you are blinded with the brightest possible volume icon. This increases risk of burn in and makes pausing or adjusting HDR content very uncomfortable. I hope a future update fixed the HDR UI extreme brightness. I will attach pictures of a paused screen with the same content with and without the UI up. In this example, it will be the input menu. My phone's camera does make it look worse because it cannot even process the contrast.
