Great for adding additional ports

Easy set up plug any existing port from main receiver and just like that magic! I'm not saying go ahead and plug your gaming PC or CONSOL to it but any extra stuff like security lights ect.. no issues.

Our house was wired with some ethernet ports, but the previous owners either took the switch or never used the ports. No issues here!
