excellent, handwriting to text is an excellent feature. also archives making finding old notes a breeze.

I use the LiveScribe 3 to record notes re Client services, then using the feed to my phone convert to computer text, then post to my calendar. I then synchronize my phone calendar with Outlook, and then have record of my notes, where previously I had to manually transcribe them to Outlook calendar to use for record and billing piurposes.

I wasn't sure about this technology, but it was easy to set up and easy to use. I love it.

Doesn't work as well as I hoped and the fact that you have to use special paper is kind of a drag and expensive. Was hoping it would also have a finer point so would be easier to draw on a tablet screen instead of the expensive paper.

Being a college student, the Livescribe 3 pen came very handy at the time of taking notes during class. Recording the voice of the teacher while taking notes helps retaining the key concepts of the class.

Pen work well but just when recording is not loud hard to listen to recording

My first impression was that it is made from cheap plastic, it is surprisingly light and cheaply made. Spending this much for a pen you expect some pretty high quality standards, but this didn't seem to deliver. I've owned other Livescribe models that felt like they were better made than this model is. I also couldn't get the pen to connect to my phone, I decided if it was this much trouble just to get started, it wasn't going to make my life easier. I returned it.

I had an earlier version that had to be connected to a computer to load the information. This one with Bluetooth provides flexibility and speed. I like not having to record everything all the time. This is very handy in meetings.

I bought this upgrade not realizing that there was no recording. I have used the previous two pens and although I liked them I felt they were bulky and a bit on the ugly side. This pen looks good and feels much better in hand. However I am very disappointed that there is no recording playback as with the other pens as I relied on that feature every time. The missing feature is the biggest drawback and overshadows the bluetooth etc.

I got this pen for my mother in college there is very little that u can do with it totally not worth the $100 I paid for it

my opinion........the older version works very well & can be stored on your PC . This pen is not user friendly. Audio requires the use of your iPhone mic.

Not great, still trying to justify the buy. The OCR doesn't work very well. Good for capturing handwritten notes but that's all.

I have just "upgraded" to the livescribe 3 from my pulse. The app shuts down during recording, the audio is not synching properly, and the randomly the recording of the audio cuts out. The pen controls on the paper do not always start the record audio function, and every time you start and stop on the page, a new file is created. Really cumbersome to work with. Loved my old pulse pen, but this ... not so much..

Love the help and connections to music lessons. Some challenges with some files at time on my Ipad

This has been great for stats homework so I do t have to scan or redo into a Word document.

Makes taking notes and referring back to them super easy!
