A simple no frills mechanical keyboard that works and feels great. I wanted a mechanical keyboard for my office but didn't want to spend a lot. This keyboard's price was just within the range I wanted to spend. Highly recommend it if you don't like membrane keyboards and are willing to spend a little extra.

If you've always wanted to get into mechanical keyboards or simply like mechanical keyboards but don't need rgb or other fancy gimmicks then this is a great keyboard. Comfortable for extended typing sessions and is very well built. I would recommend getting a wrist rest to go along with this.

I wanted a mechanical keyboard and this is definitely a mechanical keyboard. My wife learned to type on a mechanical typewriter. She wanted something that was similar to the IBM typewriter. With the membrane keyboards she often would not make contact. She then would have to go through redoing her password.

They recently replaced all of our keyboards at work. Approximately 25 of them. I liked them so much at work I ordered one for myself. I am not disappointed. Couldn't tell you what's so different about this one but its an easy type and I seem to go a lot faster and more accurately.

I consider my use to be "general office work" with a bit of "occasional software development". I have big hands. I have previously used keyboards like Microsoft's Natural keyboard and cheap membrane keyboards. This is the first mechanical keyboard I've used since the old school IBM PC clackers years ago. The key travel is perfect for what I do; the keys are responsive and the audible click is pleasant and not overhwhelming. I have not heard anyone on my concalls complain about my keyboard typing, so I trust that it's not as loud as some of the other mechanical keyboards I observed. I love the small form factor. There is very little "frame" around the keyboard. I love that it has the "right click" key. The function controls are useful and the FN key is not in my way.

Long time ago, I used PS2 type mechanical keyboard. I think only reason why I want to have this kind mechanical keyboard is the feeling of pressing each key. After then, I tried to buy a mechanical keyboard, but most of them are gaming keyboard with fascinating lights and EXPENSIVE. I am a programmer who works at the office cubicle. Then, no fascinating lights! I found this one with reasonable value and I trusted Logitech branch. One mistake is that I have no chance to try it with the display model. Unfortunately, no display model was available in BB stores. Around 70% satisfied; similar feeling of pressing keys, but softer than I expected. If you are looking for mechanical keyboard, they are not the same. Do not buy one unless you actually try it on display, and buy one you feel as what you are looking for.

This is a perfect mechanical keyboard for gamers and basic everyday use. The keys are near-silent and provide a fair amount of resistance. The keyboard is heavy and feels well-built.

Fantastic keyboard. I am able to type much better than on a non mechanical keyboard. There is a slight sound when typing, but it's not bad. I would recommend a keyboard pad, I am using the Kensington keyboard pad which is an excellent addition and makes typing easier.

I love this keyboard. Simply put, it delivers what you would expect. High quality, looks great, and best of all the Solid Romer-G mechanical keys. Not to loud. I wish it was backlit though. I give it 5 Stars for price and quality.

Bought this specifically because this is a mechanical keyboard. Comfortable and the brushed aluminum surface looks great. Clacking noise from the keys is louder than a non-mechanical keyboard though. A good purchase regardless.

Solid keyboard with very responsive and positive feel. I'm not gaming with it. I'm using it for work, but can type quickly without the vague feeling soft touch keyboards have. Two drawbacks: It's a bit loud and it is not illuminated.

The Logitech K840 is a great mechanical keyboard. The Logitech romer-g switches are perfect, with the tactile feel but quiet just like mx browns. One downside is that there are no rgb's or lights in the keyboard. And it also misses a numlock indicator light as it shows on the screen.

My husband bought this because he was upset that I got a new keyboard and he didn't get one. He claims that mechanical keyboards are the best but all I hear is... ticka ticka tap tap tap ticka ticka tap. Thanks random person that suggested this. He loves it though...

There is something wonderful about the feel of a mechanical keyboard. With covid and working from home, this keyboard has been a life saver. Nothing worse then working on a laptop keyboard for more than a short period.

Keyboard is simple mechanical keyboard with medium feedback. Suffices for no frills entry level device.

This sucker is solid. No messing around. It works great. For the price, it should, but it really does. It's a great product if you're sick of messing around with cheap keyboards that don't last. This baby is like your wife. (That's permanent, right?)

This raised key keyboard is the best. If you are a tactile typist, you will love this keyboard. I was looking for something like this and expected it to be hard to find. The Best Buy folks had this in stock and told me they were very popular. Who knew!
