This keyboard works well. It is just like all other Apple products. It works as expected. The numerical keypad is a nice addition to the basic apple keyboard, as well at the touch ID. I'm happy with this purchase.

The Keyboard connects very easily. The design is nice, slim and sleek. The touch id comes in clutch. I use it with macbook pro and it works very good.

High quality product. No issues at all with touch id. A little prices but is made study and can take somewhat of a beating. Low profile and long battery life.

Fantastic! The look of it is sleek and just extra cool. It works exceptionally well. I love how streamlined it is, not taking up any extra space on my desk.

Great keyboard! Nice to have wireless and the number pad being attached saves some space on my desk. Feels great when typing code or words docs for long periods of time and the rechargeable battery last for ever it seams.

The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad is pretty neat for anyone using newer Macs with Apple silicon. It’s got a clean look, the keys feel great under your fingers, and having Touch ID is super handy for quick logins and authorizing purchases without needing a password every time. Plus, the numeric keypad is a bonus for anyone crunching numbers or working on spreadsheets.
But, here's the kicker – if you're using an older iMac like I am, the Touch ID feature won't work, which is a real bummer. It feels like you're missing out on the full experience, especially when you've shelled out for what's supposed to be a top-notch keyboard. So, while it's a solid keyboard with lots to like, the Touch ID letdown for us with older Macs takes some of the shine off.

Overall I have found this keyboard to be very good for my purposes. It is certainly compact and light for a full function keyboard with number pad. Even though the keyboard is very light, small pads on the back make it very stable with no sliding around on the desk top. At my level of usage recharging the Magic Keyboard is required very infrequently. The number pad and Touch ID were the driving factors in my purchase because I never advanced beyond one finger, by sight use of linear number keys. I would actually grade this keyboard closer to but just short of 5 because (a) I find the alphabetic key placement to feel a little close, (b) I still like the more pronounced depressions on the Logitech keys but I am getting more accustomed to the Magic Keyboard, (c) Logitech's function to switch between computers with the same keyboard would be nice, and backlighting might be nice, And, of course, the price is certainly an Apple product price but Best Buy's rewards helped me to get this keyboard at a very good out-of-pocket price.

Works as expected. Love the Touch ID & numeric keypad all together. Good touch feel. Wish there were color options to match my green iMac.

The only keyboard I prefer and use. Wouldn't buy anything else. I do tend to wear out the letters on top of the keys though... so this is the third I've bought in 10 years... but that's just from constant use.

I had to buy the Magic Keyboard since my M2 Mac mini was displaying a considerable delay between input of my Logitech Wave Keyboard to being displayed. After this happened a few times I was fed up with it and was about to buy the non-numeric pad Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. After testing it on the iMacs on display, I went with the Magic Keyboard with both the Touch ID and numeric Keypad. This decision was worth it, but definitely not worth the price tag, since Dell sells their multi-device keyboard for $100. However, for the time I have been using this, the keyboard feels amazing. Haven't gotten any hand/finger cramps like I did with a certain bland looking Logitech keyboard for work.

With the finger print key for starting, using for passwords, and the new battery power - it is a keeper. Only complaint is that I would like to tilt it up further!

If you have a Mac that supports Touch ID then this is a great keyboard. Especially if you have a setup like mine where you use a MacBook that sits closed and connected to an external monitor most of the time. The Mac controls and the expansion to include a 10 key make it easy to work in applications that need frequent numerical entries on your Mac. It pairs easily and has a nice solid construction. If you’re a PC user then there isn’t much here for you that isn’t offered on other keyboards for less money.

Love the sleek design, the light weight and how the keys feel when pressed — soft to the touch and very quiet. Expensive, but you get what you pay for and Apple products tend to last. I'm currently using this with an older MacBook Pro (2012 Retina) and quickly realized that some of the features on the keyboard are not compatible, which is not surprising. Things like volume control and most if not all of the "upper keys". This keyboard is designed for newer Macs with Apple silicon using macOS 11.4 or later. I will soon be using my newest MacBook Pro M1 with this keyboard and expect no compatibility issues.

This keyboard has been great to use when plugging into my docking station. The keys feel similar to the macbook pro (2021), the touch ID means I don't have to open the macbook when my watch isn't on and the rechargeable battery is much nicer than one you'd need to replace the batteries in. Overall, this was a great purchase for my needs!
