Superb product. Love the size, features and speed. Performs like a full size computer at a fraction of the size and weight.

As an Entrepreneur I'm constantly on the go and need my laptop to be light weight, super portable, and have all the bells and whistles of a full desktop. After doing a great deal of research and comparison I went with the newest version of the Microsoft Surface Pro in mid May 2018. I am thrilled with my purchase!!! I have my entire office at my fingertips, in an extremely portable package. The battery power on this is fantastic!! The test for me was attending a 3 day training where each day was from 8am to 7:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break. My fully charged battery lasted me the entire day with a little room to spare. I wasn't looking for an outlet or concerned that I'd end up having to start using a pad and pen. One other thing I want to mention is because this is a 2 in 1, I can use this in tablet mode if I need to but I still have my full computer. On the days when I'm working out of my car being able to use a "table" but have my regular computer is fantastic. That, coupled with all of the functionality, makes this a purchase I'm thrilled to have made.

I switched about 7 years ago from a Windows PC desktop and laptop to Apple Mac desktop and Mac Air. I loved the Air and had it for almost 7 years, but when looking for a new laptop I decided to try the Microsoft Surface. I am glad I made the switch. I do like having the flexibility of the power of a laptop combined with a tablet. I bought the laptop for business use and it works great with the Microsoft Office products. I also like using the Surface Pen, but frankly I do not use the pen as much as I anticipated as it is still easy to take notes and make edits with the keyboard. The laptop is powerful and more than adequate for my business uses. The battery life is very good for my needs, but I am generally close enough to an outlet where battery is not a major factor. I think the biggest difference is the use of a touch screen with the power of a laptop and then being able to take off the keyboard and use it as a tablet. I'm very happy I made the change from the Air to the Surface and highly recommend it.

Although Surface Pro is my most recent purchase and I have not tested all the bells and whistles, I like the easy switching from computer keyboard to a tablet. The camera is excellent in capturing images far away or close up. It has a large screen as a tablet, is light weight and very portable. Used well on your lap or sitting on table top, converts quickly from landscape to portrait orientation.

The speed and the ability to pinch in and out make the computer ideal for work in a classroom with a projector. The pen is faster and more accurate than previous versions, allowing more seamless marking of presentations and documents. The computer is small and probably breakable, so the Geek Squad full protection is probably advisable if working in an elementary/middle school setting.

Easy to use, sleek, and works smoothly. Can’t believe I like Microsoft again.

I have had a lot of laptops and comptuters in my life for college and stuff this one is by far the best for school. It is light easy to carry around, the touch screen is well calibrated and the battery lasts long enough I can use it almost the whole week without needing to plug it in.

My second surface. Replacement for one that was working perfectly @ 3 years old but had been dropped by accident. Love the speed, versitility. I am a small business owner and my surface travels with me everywhere I go. Client appts to home and on vacation. So light.

Product well designed, light, intuitive and easy to use

I bought it to have a lighter but equally powerful alternative to a laptop and so far must say that I am impressed with it. I analyze heavy data in my work and have so far been doing that also with the surface pro to which I have Stata fully functional. I recommend this to any student who wants to combine style with efficiency.

Battled back and forth between the MacBook. After much research and deliberation I decided to go with the Window Surface. I’m very glad I did. Sleek design, easy to use and very multitasking friendly. For the price of the MacBook I was able to get the tablet, keyboard, mouse and pen. Definitely would buy again

The Surface has been the best investment I've made in years. It is my laptop, tablet, and gaming device. The device is light weight so do not need to worry about it being heavy like a normal laptop plus the battery life is fantastic. The only thing i wish it had was a 2nd usb port but can use a dongle if needed.

I finally broke down and purchased this item.. I couldn't be happier.. the speed, graphics and portability is great.. everything I needed.. if your questioning yourself about buying this product, trust me you won't be disappointed

I purchased the i5/8gb RAM/256gb SSD version of the 2017 Surface Pro, along with the Type Cover (sold separately). This device has some definite pros. The display is lovely. With its adjustable kickstand and the Type Cover, it works well on my lap. The i5 is fanless and therefore runs very quietly. Even without a fan, the device only gets mildly warm. Performance seems good overall. However... If you read reviews of the 2017 Surface Pro in online magazines, you'll hear about its fast Samsung SSD. What you don't hear about is that not all Surface Pros have the same SSD. Mine is a Toshiba, which puts up numbers much slower than the Samsung. Just be aware that if you buy a Surface Pro based on reviews, you're playing the Microsoft lottery. Your device might not have the same components. Also, battery life, though decent for a real i5 device, is nowhere near advertised. I get 5-6 hours on a charge. (Unless, of course, Microsoft put a lesser battery in my device as well.) My Surface Pro does what I ask it to do and it doesn't show any unusual delays. Still, the SSD lottery does not help me trust Microsoft in the future. I could still return it to Best Buy. I may yet.

From using at the house to the car and at school it is the easiest lightest and least bulky cpu/tablet I have ever used amazing response by the touch screen and amazing screen quality

I waited from the time Surface originally released a bout 5 years ago until this had time to develop and improve...sooooo worth the wait! It can do anything my laptop could do but smaller, lighter, more battery life and bonus.....its a tablet too! I replaced 1 item and got 2!!! Only wish it had atleast 1 more USB port but easy fix, just bought a USB hub.

I travel a lot and don’t spend much time at home. The Surface gives me all laptop functions (and more) but doesn’t weight me down. It adjusts to work in any space and is light weight. Prefer this over any laptop I’ve owned.

I was so impressed by the 1st one I bought that I ended up purchasing another one just for work. This tablet/laptop is much easier to tote around than a normal laptop, the battery life is amazing and well worth the $.

So far this is meeting my needs quite well. Extremely fast compared to my old laptop. Bought the Microsoft type cover to go with it as well as a bamboo pen in store. (No Microsoft ones in stock) I have since purchased the Microsoft one) I love the ability to go either in tablet or laptop mode. It is very light and portable. Battery seems to last a long time. Would purchase again, though I have only had it about 3 weeks, so who knows if there will be issues down the road.

This computer is easy to use. I like the size, the detachable keyboard and the light weight. The battery holds a charge for a long time and I find myself using it more than I did my other, bigger laptop.
