Without this membership you will be paying very high prices for simple repairs and maintenance. You’ll definitely thank yourself later for grabbing this and seeing all the benefits it has like membership prices on items, first look on deals and other benefits that come with being a my BestBuy total membership member

They took time to listen to my concerns and explained how they would diagnose the problem and provide a solution. They explained that they would do their best to remedy the problem, but explained that there was a possibility that they would run into challenges.

Outstanding value & service

I have used both the remote and drop-off services. The techs that do the intake at drop off are knowledgeable; this makes the process go smoothly. Have never had a problem with service on any of my devices. I never hesitate to recommend it to others.

Computer Repairs Went Very Well

The Geek squad people found the problems with both systems, and were able to fix the problems quickly. My computers are back home and working properly. One of the computers required RAM replacement, and the best price I could find for the needed parts was at Best Buy. So, I was able to purchase the new RAM online on the Best Buy web site with the in-store pick up option, so the Geek squad people were able to perform the needed installation quickly. I appreciate the service I received as well as the relatively low price for the hardware I needed to purchase :) . Also, signing up for an annual membership saved me money on the system repairs, and I now have options for other savings throughout most of this year :) .

Will also be using it when I purchase 2 new TV's later this year and need help from Geek Squad for installation.

Best laptop ever

I wanted a laptop that was easy to travel with, since I fly frequently, so weight is an issue, as was durability.

INTILL the cashier explained how geek squad will fix all products bought in bestbuy if broken. We have enough electronics to were thats absolutely worth the pricing. Thanks for recommending and having an insurance type plan available for our wildly expensive almost necessary electronics.

I got to come back to the store when the price dropped and was refunded over $300 dollars. Trust me if you do not get it you will regret it later!!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this membership mainly for assistance in getting my "digital stuff" transferred to the new PC I purchased. There was some difference in the cost quoted online and in the store but my previous experience in DIY for this task made This look like a worthwhile investment. I dropped it off at the time of purchase and made an appointment to retrieve it when we returned from an out of town engagement. To meet this schedule I had to drive the unit to a second Best Buy location as at the first I had to make an appointment with the Geek Squad before being able to drop it off. I was totally willing to stand in line for a short session with an agent before leaving it for servicing. Then despite having made an appointment for pick up a week later I received a couple of emails requesting that I make an appointment for pick-up during the week that I was away. Upon returning and meeting the pick-up appointment, I found that much work still remained as no programs had been installed awaiting my presence to provide activation codes and passwords - that made some sense so OK. However the tech involved proceeded to spend 2+ hours trying unsuccessfully to transfer my MS Office software to the new CPU. Eventually I suggested leaving that and proceeding to other programs which were easier to transfer. The tech was unable to print out all of the installed apps/programs so the process proceeded rather slowly and I'm not sure all of the programs I used on the previous unit made the transition. I was not prepared with a listing of all the programs I was using as I wrongly assumed that all the programs would be installed. The process used was confusing and the problems encountered were distracting. Once at home I purchased a newer version of MS Office for $20 and installed it in about 15 min. I will address other issues as best I can at home or bring it back if I encounter other issues.

Protection and Peace of Mind with My Best Buy Tota

Having coverage for two years gives me real peace of mind, especially with expensive devices like these. The process of adding the membership was simple, and the staff at Best Buy explained everything clearly. Overall, I feel much more confident knowing our phones are protected. Service in the store was excellent

Brinne came came on 5/2/26 to download files from old computer. Couldn't because we had not bought Microsoft office (salesman didn't tell us) We took new computer into Avon store to have done. Got it back 5/5/26. I called on 5/6/26 left message, no call back from Geek Squad.

Best Membership I’ve Had

The savings alone pay for itself, especially if you shop even somewhat regularly. I also really like the extra perks and peace of mind that come with it. Everything feels smoother and more convenient compared to not having the membership. Customer support has also been helpful anytime I needed it. Overall, it just makes the whole experience better and well worth it.

Well I couldn't be happier that I signed up for their technical service because the young man who helped me really made a HUGE difference when he taught me how to fix my issues that I was having so much trouble with! I'm now able to accomplish with my project with no problems! I wish that I could remember his name so he would get credit he deserves!

First time membership

Best Buy told me about the membership option which I purchased. The work to clean and update my laptop was done very quickly and I was given a full review of what was done. Everyone I spoke with was very courteous and helpful. I feel much more confident that my data is safe and if I am ever in doubt, I know where to go for assistance.
