Just as beneficial are the member pricing, advanced sale price offerings and discount sale notifications so I don’t miss a good deal. As items age and are still being used I typically take advantage of extending the Geek Squad protection for a few dollars a month once they come off the initial plan. Money well spent.

Although I purchased my computer at the Williamsburg store, I required additional assistance setting it up at home and Sean went above and beyond in every way. He arrived right on time, explained everything with clarity and patience, and demonstrated an impressive level of technical knowledge. What really stood out was his kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to help. Sean made sure every question was answered and every issue resolved, all while maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude that immediately put me at ease. His partner, who accompanied him, was also excellent—together they made a fantastic team. Best Buy should be extremely proud to have employees like Sean and his partner. Sean's expertise, communication skills, and customer care are exactly what set the company apart. Thanks to him, I feel much more confident using my new computer, and I’ll absolutely turn to Sean at the Newport News location again because of this experience.

I recently used Geek Squad for computer diagnostics and cleaning, and the service was excellent. The team was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. They cleaned the dust, checked the cooling system, and made sure the computer was running perfectly. They also reviewed my water cooling system and made helpful recommendations without trying to sell unnecessary parts. The turnaround time was much faster than I expected, and the price was fair for the level of service and expertise. Overall, the Geek Squad made the entire experience easy and stress-free. In the world of the service industry, precious few offers the value & service that BEST BUY GEEK Squad does. The tech package covers so much and is available to all my family member's at no extra cost. If you want peace of mind with all your electronic needs--THE TECH package is worth the investment and can pay for itself after your first visit.

Recently I purchase a Best Buy membership along with two MSI 15.6” thins and they have preformed far beyond my expectations, though the fans can be loud my temperatures while playing demanding games are beyond satisfactory. This is a perfect laptop for gamers and student alike as I have used it for both. I upgraded the ddr5 from 8gb to 16gb for both laptops and the tech team there was happy to install for me since I was on the go, and this was a free service included in my Best Buy total membership. They provide diagnostic as well as data transfers along with many other services included with my membership purchase. I 100% will be repurchasing when my plan expires. It’s beyond worth the money and my family and I will surely remain customers for life due to the quality of service I received.

I came to the store at Walker Lake rd. at about 5 PM Tuesday 11/25/25. I needed and bought a printer and ink cartridge with the help of a young man ,very knowledgeable, has been there about 3 years and is working his way through college. I'm so sorry I forgot his name and the floor supervisor's name also. They both helped me settle a problem that I have had for about a year with my BB Total Yearly Subscription. It started out as double billed last year, one cancelled, and my Web root Secure Anywhere subscription cancelled, After fixing that issue last January, I find I have a BB Total still on record as expired after 6 Months! These 2 employees worked the issue out and I am now still a Total Yearly, Happy Member! JohnP

I purchased a total membership along with a new laptop for my college student, and it has been a great decision. The membership allowed me to get my college student laptop repaired and causing me to be stress-free, and the added protection gives me peace of mind knowing her laptop is covered during school. The support and services included are very helpful, especially for students who rely on their laptop every day for classes and assignments. Overall, the membership feels worth the cost and adds real value to the purchase.

I used the membership for online support to fix a problem with my new laptop. The keyboard quit working after a few weeks. They could not find a fix and said it was a hardware problem. I had the computer serviced by the manufacturer who replaced the keyboard. That didn’t correct the problem. I then took it into best buy geek squad and explained the problem. The geek squad person knew exactly what was wrong. It was a software update that had caused the problem and they fixed it in a few minutes. I wish the online support was aware of the update that caused problems. Bottom line is they fixed my problem!

This membership offers great 24/7 Geek Squad support. Was able to ask questions from the Geek Squad about anything I did not understand. Under this plan, I was able to have a diagnostic done on computer like a checkup. Geek squad tune the laptop up making performance run faster and smoother. Best part? There was a zero charge when they were all done! Not only that? They will check ANY of your products whether purchased at Best Buy or not to let u know what's going on! Is totally worth purchasing every year especially for emergencies and peace of mind!

Can't beat this Atmos sound from TV unit. I have it hooked to a Bose system but the TV sound is Very nice. The picture is awesome. DolbyVison? Yes it is worth it! All I heard was about the glare. I had a same sized Samsung (non Matte) and really cant tell the difference in glare. My room is not bright but not dark. I'm extremely impressed. This TV has surpassed my expectations and I'm still finding features. Oh and the remote pointer is pretty cool also.

Purchasing Total Tech was the best and smartest thing I've ever done. With Total Tech. I've had the Geek Squad set up or troubleshoot several of my computers which is included. The service has saved me many headaches as well as dollars. I am constantly amazed by all that is included. I highly recommend this service. It pays for itself over and over again.

I’ve used it a couple of times for setup questions and minor issues, and the help was quick and easy. You get two years of protection on most purchases, which includes accidental damage. That’s saved me money already on a broken pair of headphones. Free shipping is fast and reliable, which is nice if you don’t live near a store. What could be better: It’s not cheap. At around $180 a year, you really need to use the benefits to make it worth it. The exclusive deals are okay, but not amazing. Sometimes you’ll find better discounts elsewhere. If you don’t buy electronics regularly, the membership probably isn’t worth it. Overall: If you’re someone who buys tech often and wants extra protection and support, this membership makes sense. If you are not real good with computers, this is a great membership to have. Online chat is available if you need help or you can talk with an agent too. The membership also has many perks like free delivery, free setup and in some cases extended warranty. When you buy large items like a refrigerator, you can get a discount. Buy some items and if they fail, you can get it replaced for free.

I feel really good about getting the Total membership. They kept my new computer and I brought them my old one and they transferred my files, fixed a glitch on my old one, which I'll use as a backup now if needed. They were very helpful making sure everything I bought worked together and answered a lot of questions. I'll be bringing them a few of my other electronics to help me optimize performance. It all flows smoothly and I feel a sense of genuine trust in their knowledge.

This membership is worth every penny; I was trying to download Microsoft Office on my own without any experience in doing so. My time and stress were not factored in. The yearly membership covers any software updates required for a year, but also any trouble shooting that is required. The technician also gave me advice on a universal remote for my TV and a thumb drive to save photos that fit with my MacBook Pro. One stop shopping and no stress. Highly recommend it.
