Swapped out my 8 port. Need a little more expansion. Seems working well, easy and working.

Purchased to replace a very old 10/100 managed switch for our home network. The Netgear is quiet and compact and worked well out of the box.

Works perfectly at home for main switch running 2 desktops, 2 servers, 2 IP cameras and 5 Tivo minis. Would buy a UPS for power outages.

Great upgrade from 5+ year old switch. Good improvement in performance with each node working at max speed independent of others.

This is the second one I have owned. Same Model. Bought this one for another location. The first one is still working like new and is at least 7+ years old. Well built. Metal case and compact. Plug n Play. Have this feeding Cat5e to every room in the house with ports to spare. Does exactly what it is suppose to do.

This is better than consumer-grade switches, so it should last for a long time. Netgear makes great networkong equipment

Netgear has the right product to get the job done. This 16 port switch is a great fit and Best Buy was priced right. Both wins for me!

Went looking for a Lynksys, but this was cheaper, it was in stock, and after a couple of months, has keep on working like a champ.

This is my second one. As for unmanaged switches....this is a workhorse and is great. Plug and Play.

Needed a switch that could handle networked devices for 12 people. Easy setup and install. No issues. Great price and value.

My home LAN had grown to the point that I added a second CISCO 8 port Gigabit switch; this worked well for years but a couple months ago data transfer speed began to vary and became generally slower. I replaced the old CISCO switches with this NETGEAR unit and... WOW! What a difference! My LAN has never been faster and I gained a few ports in the process. I generally buy CISCO "Managed" switches for professional applications but this NETGEAR is a terrific deal if VLANs, etc. are not needed.

This was easy to use and worked great. All ports are interchangeable for in and out of you Ethernet network. Great connectivity.

I initially put in a similar product from D-Link which worked OK when the network was used just for work data and so on. But when I used my NASDrive for music, it regularly crashed - so I switched to the Netgear and haven't had a single failure since. I have all Netgear products for my network and won't use any other brand.

The switch is perfect. Its fast and reiable a great buy for the price.

In my opinion Netgear makes great products and this is just one of them. With this 16 port switch I can integrate multiple devices on my home network and still have room for more. I would recommend this switch for anyone wanting to add devices to their network i.e. Desktop, surveillance cameras, printers, televisions and more.
