Bought this to speed up my network and add LAN connections. Easy setup and greatly expanded my connections.

I just realized that I had forgotten about the LAN switch as I've been using it for a while now with ZERO problems!! Instead of going with a 'minimum' number of ports, buying this one works out great as I'll never run out of ports in my home office. I prefer wired to wireless networks due to wireless reliability issues. This devices flawless function shows how a wired LAN is better than WiFi!!

This is the third 16 port NetGear switch that I have bought in the last 6 months (various locations, not failures) and, as always, I'm very happy with it. Each time it was a plug and play, with no issues. I would definitely buy another one. I also bought a 24 port about 5 months ago, with the same result: no issues. NetGear is a very good product.

I had an 8 port router die on me, got this to use with my new mesh system. I have a gigabit system in the house and get speeds like I am plugged straight to the modem all over the hose on my wired devices. I only needed 8 ports, but picked this up to future proof.
