    Great unmanaged switch for a low price. I use it to run ethernet to all of the rooms in my house, less than a 1% loss in speed through the switch which is more than acceptable. Has the ability to be mounted to a wall as well if you would prefer to keep it off a shelf.

    As more technology evolves to being network capable, the next choice is wired/wireless. I prefer hard-wired options for certain devices...desktops, console gaming stations, DVR, etc. This switch (it is powered) works fantastic for hard-wiring these items. Works great, be sure to look for the 1000gigabit switch when shopping...older models had a cap of 100gig throughput.

    Been using it for a while now and no issues with any of the 16 ports! It was very quick and easy to setup, just plug in the AC power and one of the 16 ports needs to have the incoming ethernet connection. Then the other 15 can be used for the unmanaged switching!
