I have found Netgear products are a good value and seem to be very reliable.

Very nice switch. My network needed an upgrade and this did it.

Heats up really quick so must be separated form other components.

I purchased this switch in a pinch and it worked out great with the number of ports and gigabit speeds. It's a dumb switch which means it doesn't have features like VLAN and the like because you can't log into it but it's decent for the price.

Plugged the system into my Eros router. Not getting a stable signal through to the rest of the components hooked to it. Gig Fiber hooked in and dropping signal. Geek Squad will be back out to see what is wrong.

The switch worked right out of the box with no set up needed. However it is not a managed switch and there is no way to manually adjust QOS.

Had to get it for office and works okay. Had a few times where it couldn't handle using all ports at once

Tried an 8 port switch and I ran out of parking spaces for the present & future Cat-6 cable runs. This unit fulfills the current present needs and future Dreams.
