The switch was easy to wall mount and performed just as expected.

This switch has the following going for it
1) Very quite : zero noise as it does not have a fan
2) Boots up very very fast
3) Very low power 12Watts, and hence does not heat up
4) Robust due to a metallic enclosure
5) Decent number of ports
Would have wanted some features of Cisco switches in the order of priority.
1) Support Cisco's version of "switchport protected"
2) Support of parallel ethernet link (bundling)

There's not much to say about this network switch. It's un-managed, has a small form factor and works well. I have a very large home network and I use this switch to have more ports and offload local traffic from the switch on my router.

For the price, it's a good gigabit switch. The management interface is nice to have, especially putting it into a small business setting. We've had a few scenarios where the management webpage doesn't load, and the whole thing needs to be rebooted.

Purchased in March to replace the switch I had for 10 years. Very easy installation and have always had good luck with NetGear. In September my network went down. After checking on many possibilities it was determined my switch went bad. Very disappointed. Called to check on manufacture's warranty and NetGear said this was not a warranty issue. rrrr
