Overall, this switch is great. If you are getting slower speeds on devices you are confident should be getting faster speed, keep in mind that this switch will limit faster devices based on the device with the slowest speed capability. My TV was causing speed limit of 15Mbps to all devices. Once I unplugged it from the switch all my other devices speeds increased back up to 950Mbps.

Very fast data transfer. Easy setup. Just plug in your power and ethernet cable's and your good to go. Reasonably priced too.

It does what it says, you just plug and play. I have not had any issues and it is thin enough to fit where I wanted to put it.

Excellent addition to expand your home network. Easy to setup just plug it into the electrical outlet and get a Patch Ethernet Cable, plug it into your router or Orbi, plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the Netgear 8-port switch and your on your way. Plug the other devices that were in your router or else where into one of the other 7 ports and you have a wired connection for all your devices.

Works as described using it for expanding devices that is connected to the network and router since the router only has so many connections on the the back or the side depending on your internet provider at least the green lights let’s you know what is connected to the internet and how fast the connection is my the amount of flashing light by the connection

this works very well and is perfect for networking . i used it for a lan party to cannect multiple computers through one ether cable

I always use NetGear switches with my home networks. Recently I had to replace a four port switch with this one. Installation was plug-and-play in my case and I highly recommend for everyone to upgrade to this model for the benefit of having some extra ports. You may not think you need an extra port but in this day and age of Smart gear, you just never know.

Purchased this switch to replace an aging switch that had seen better days. Netgear is one of the standard brands in the world of network appliances. This model has been around for many years and had proven to be reliable. It's case is metal, which, in a commercial setting, is preferred. If you're looking for an unmanaged network switch, this is the one.

This was a perfect, inexpensive switch - just what we needed in the small office where it is used.

Works perfect and no programming needed. Better then extender if you can run cable. No maintenance either.
