Works great. Netgear has always been a solid choice for ethernet switches. Be sure to use a surge protector - don't plug it directly into a wall socket. We had to buy this one because the power brick on our old one fried out due to a power outage.

Easy to setup and use! Easy to control through command line text. I have had zero issues out of this while using it with my security cameras. Would recommend!

Kind of your bread and butter switch for an extra port or two. They go years without rebooting. I’ve installed a dozen or more without issues. The metal case is a nice touch. Probably the same guts in the plastic case, but just seems a little more professional.

I bought Linksys Velop 3 pack. However, I was looking for more ports for me to directly connect my computer to the router. Netgear switch was recommended by the Greek squad technician. This is a great product and complements the Velop 3 pack. Thank you

This little box works like a charm always. I think this is the 4th I buy, not to replace older ones but for new jobs around the office. The small ones (5 port) are ideal to split ethernet among TV, PS5, XBOX and ROKU on the same room.

Not much to say here. Netgear network products like this are pretty foolproof. They just work. No software to install. It runs cool and works. Day and night. This is my second Netgear unmanaged switch in the last 15 years. The other one still works fine but I bought this one because it is faster (gigabit) and has more ports (8).

Awesome product for my needs, i was out of ethernet ports for my devices and this really works. I have great speeds on all devices and am using a fiber connection. Very easy to set up and use

Bought to expand my wired setup in newly finished basement. Works flawlessly and fast. Now have close to 1 gig speed for Xbox Series X now that I have a wired connection from Fios router to switch box.

Great and simple working switch. Easy setup, just plug and play. No software or configuration needed. Works great connecting my internet modem directly into this switch and then connecting all my other devices, computers, printers, external cloud drives.

Simple network switch. Netgear is a solid company. I chose them over others because I like that it has a metal case. So it's nice and rugged, with a couple of mounting options. I upgraded from a Netgear 5 port switch to this 8 port switch. Both worked perfectly. I am happy.

Needed more ports with my whole home wifi system Eero and this did the trick. The price was great for 8 extra ports and have had no issues yet. Netgear usually does well and this is no different. If you rather have things wired in your home this is a great way to look.

Just what I needed for a small smart home center. Provided the extra ports that I needed and has worked great so far. Extremely easy to setup and maintain needed speed.

A nice switch that is plug and play. Nothing else to say but just that it works and speed seems comparable to my other switch. Adds range and connection to my existing network at home.

Bought this to replace a 16 port version that had gotten the worse side of some lightning strikes. I really need only 8 ports...got the 16 in case I needed to add any. Store was out of the 16 port, so I got the 8 port. Works as it should.

This switch made adding additional ethernet ports to my WiFi router a piece of cake.
