Solid solution to Google mesh limited ports. Hooked this up to my Google mesh “router” and lost me speed to my wired devices. Well made and actually looks nice so no need to hide it.

If you looking to expand your Ethernet network this is a great product to do it. I throw Ethernet cables all over my house, and this extender is the hard of my network. I have multiple TVs, Xbox, laptops going at the same time, and I never hear my kids complaining of a bad internet connection.

I have purchased 3 of these Netgear 8 port switches prior to this one. I have a smart home and have been adding to my system. Needed to purchase another switch to add more devices and did not even think of any other switch because of the quality and how long my first one has lasted.

Great for when you want to go to wired instead of wireless. If you do not have a powerful wireless router, wired is the way to go. The unmanaged feature is preferable for a home since it is unlikely that you would have separate print servers, etc. make sure you use cat six or cat seven cable
