    This is does not have a consumer friendly design. Its designed like it should fit in a mini server rack... the power is in the back while ports in the front... both power and ports should be in the back.

    This device is very susceptible to power surges. I have had two brownouts that fried the electronics. One time the switch was even plugged into a $100 surge protector.

    I could not make it work - probably my fault. It is not user-friendly as far as the setup goes. It does seem to be well constructed. A short Ethernet cable to hook up to the master source should have been provided.

    Very good product. it allowed me to expand my system with wired connections. I think wired direct is substantially better than wireless when it comes to computers, TV's etc.
