Our netgear ACT 1200 range extender gave us a100% improvement in our wifi reception in our home..can even get reception in the adjacent patio area. Set up was very simple.

I really like this Wi-Fi extender as I do all net gear products this one is so easy to use I just plugged it in it the WPS security button and it linked up to my Netgear nighthawk router without issue it extends the Wi-Fi throughout my entire home even though it's low to the ground plugged into an outlet.

This extender works great. It really gave me a strong signal from the rear bedroom to the front of the house and outside porch and patio where I used to encounter buffering when watching a video. The only problem that I had when attempting to install the program from my cellphone was that the installation kept disconnecting my cellphone from wifi, preventing the completion of the installation. I was able to install the program using an ethernet cable and my pc. The process was actually easier that way because it allowed me to keep my original SSID without using an extension.

Thanks to the staff at my local Best buy who helped me in looking at the various models and based on my needs and wants select this model- easy plug and play set up - within less than 20 minutes i was good to go with a whole house signal.

This will probably be a short review. I needed a cure for a dead spot in the house. The device fit the ticket. It was easy to set up and move to the final place to be used. Speed is the same as it you are on wireless already. Xbox one is going through this without any issues or delays.

I have owned previous models from Netgear and was very happy with them which made my choice for this upgraded model very easy. You simply plug it into wall socket, push a button on the router and another on the extender, and you're good to go. Works as advertised!

Once you understand the Technology it's a breeze to set up and it works fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get wi-fi in areas that are known to be weak.

This Extender was so easy to install and initialize. Within 10 minutes I was plugging it into its final location to broadcast to our RV, and it delivers a strong 5.0 signal that we use to stream video inside our parked RV.

Solid performance so far in the upper part of our house for extending the Wi-Fi to far parts of our home. Easy to set up.

Bought this to extend Wi-Fi into a basement that had bad reception. It works to extend 2G but the 5G connection is still weak. Very easy to set up. But you have to be patient because booting and finding networks can take a while. The manual says up to 120 seconds. It’s longer than that. Once it connects, though, it works great.

I was hesitant to buy this but we've had issues with internet access throughout my house due to the router being in the master bedroom closet in the furthest corner of the house. Set up was simple and it works better than I expected.

This Extender really works great. I have a dead-spot in my home area and this took care of it. Easy to setup and easy to manage. I recommend this 100%.

Gives good coverage for those hard to reach spots. I have had a few drops but this could be due to the main router. Overall good speed and added coverage

I have this connected to a Netgear Nighthawk AC 2600 and they had no problem connecting via wps button. I live in a house with concrete walls, so i don't necessarily have the best connection in certain areas of the property. However, I have wifi security cameras and they would drop signal or provide a poor video feed. The extender solved this problem, but don't expect this item to provide speeds anywhere near what your wireless router can. Overall it works well and is fairly easy to install/use.

Excellent extender - completely solved the dead spaces in our 2-story residence. Very happy with performance thus far. Hopefully it will operate longer than the 3-4 years that most extenders last.

Picked this item up at curbside. The employee told us "It won't work" when we asked about how easy it would be to return it. But, when we got it home, the installation was easy and worked like a charm. We got this because we needed a wider range for working at home during COVID-19. We aren't using it for gaming and have only 1 or 2 devices connected to it at a time. Works great ... if you have the same scenerio, I would recommend this item (you get what you pay for).

My router is in my basement, so my signal is degraded and spotty throughout the house. I purchased a 2.4ghz extender, same brand, thinking this was the solution. For the most part it was, until my son played an online game. To say the least it was very laggy. So I decided to upgrade the extender to a dual band, after doing several speed test on my router. This upgrade was about 4 times as expensive as the previous one, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was on sale. Finally, I set it up and asked my son to play an online game to test it.........SUCCESS!!!!

It was so frustrating trying to work with limited signal coverage in our house. I discovered the Netgear Wi-fi range extender online at Best Buy. It solved my problem, works like a charm, and was super EZ to install. Now I have a strong signal throughout the house. I'm a happy camper!

We had trouble with lost signals in different parts of the house but this eliminated the issue and gave us good signals everywhere. It was very easy to set up.
