Because we are working from home, we have 4 people on our wifi throughout the day. I was not getting a good signal upstairs once everyone logged on. We installed this booster at the bottom of the stairs and I now get a strong signal. It did weaken our other channels due to splitting the wifi, but before, I could only get a weak channel upstairs.

Weak signals on the second floor were pretty aggravating. The product was easy to set up and since I installed it have had no problems with the product or signal strength

The initial setup was easy. However, prepare to factory reset if you get a new router. Connecting to a new Netgear router took multiple factory resets to get it to work. Once set up the Netgear Nighthawk app is great. Its worth going all in with a Netgear router. The app easily switches between the extender and router. I purchased this for exterior camera connectivity.

This is easy to setup, bought this for my family due to poor modem router equipment from their provider, now we can FaceTime in the street and in the furtherest corner of our backyard and Can go across the street at the neighbor and still be wifi

I bought this router extender to extender my WIFI signal to cover the outer perimeter of my property. It covers my entire acre and all levels of my home. I have absolutely no gaps in my signal coverage. It's simple to use. Plug it in close to your router and program it. Then, plug it in a place on the opposite side of your home or office and extend your WIFI zone. I cut my grass on my riding mower and no more dropping of the signal changing from WIFI to 4G confusion. It's a great buy. I would buy another if I had a larger home. The one downside is that a couple of times I had to plug it in close to my router to reset it do to a loss of signal between the extender and router. It's only happened twice and it may have been operator error.

Finally, we have a strong and quick internet signal upstairs! Until we bought this device, which by the way was so simple to set up, we had almost no signal in areas away from the modem. Now, it's easy to surf the web on any of our devices. Great job Netgear!

Without this range extender, my outdoor security camera was too far away from my router. This range extender was easy to set up, and allowed my security camera to connect to my network.

Very easy to install and set up....not sure I understand or need the 2wire and 5,wire...it did help in a hard to reach area of the house

I tried 2 other more expensive units first. They did not work well for me. This was simple to set up, and covers everything I need to reach the furthest portions of my house. No more iPad or Netflix cutting out.

We own a Netgear wireless router. However, we had one dead/weak signal spot in our kitchen. We purchased this range extender, which was easy to install. We no longer have a weak/dead spot in our kitchen. Works well with our existing router. The only issue, and it is minor, is that we now essentially have two networks in our home. So, when we are in the kitchen we must switch to the new network. On ipads, cell phones, etc. you can set up the new network just once. Then, each time we experience a weak or dead spot we must switch networks. Otherwise, our primary issue has been solved.

Bought a new, $280 router only to find out it wouldn't cover the area I needed. Simply bought this device and it extended the wifi range of my existing router and now I can stream Netflix in the backyard. Returned the new router, plunged this extender in the wall and saved over $170 with this device. Plus I get better wifi range throughout the house. Great purchase!

This extender was very easy to set up and link with my existing router. It picks up both bands and even Amazon Fire reads it well

easy to install and did increase the single on the second floor but wish it had further range. About 30 feet is whatI get from it.

My internet coverage was spotty in my garage so I found this Netgear AC1200 wifi extender. It was very easy to set up and has given me exceptional coverage where I once had nothing! Definitely worth a try!

My WiFi router located upstairs caused signals on the lower level of the house to be spotty and weak. The NetGear range extender solved that problem, It was affordable, easy to set up, and provides enhanced signal throughout.

Definitely has helped enhance my WiFi signal in other parts of my house. Easy to setup and see if it is connected to my router.

I've only had this one day, but I am so pleased with it. It was easy to install. Just be patient as the device "sets" itself as you go through the steps. I am not very techy, but just followed the instruction booklet and it is working like a charm. I have a small moblie home and could not get streaming TV in my living room due to lack of internet coverage when I moved my router to a small bedroom not that far away, to support my laptop for working at home due to COVID. After the intial set-up next to my router (per instructions) I plugged his device mid-way between my router and my TV and it is working just great. I made sure to update my wi-fi password on streaming TV per instructions.

I actually own four Netgear Nighthawk routers: Home, Office and two vacation homes. Easy, fast, super-clean installation. Brain-dead simple to administer. Consistency across locations simplifies my life immensely. I use a Netgear Wi-Fi Extender to reach an outbuilding that my son often works in. That was a little more effort to configure due to ID10T errors on my part. But he can sit out there all day doing video calls while I am working in the house with no bandwidth contention or other problems. These products working together make my life much, much simpler. I can focus on my work (OK, and entertainment) without having to concentrate on networking technology. The
