Purchased this extender so I can have a better signal outside on my porch. Works excellent using both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz frequencies! I definitely recommend this extender for someone trying to get a larger area to connect with their Wi-Fi.

Does the job. I was skeptical at first, but overall happy with product.

Works to increase coverage area for wireless access. This unit works better than its competitors and was purchased for that reason. We sold the competitors unit due to its under performance in coverage and reliability. This unit works.

So far so good, I had a "blind spot" in my house for Wifi and this seems to have fixed the problem.

Works great for me to be able to run a land line to my laptop in my golf sim.

It seems to be working but most of the time a red light is on. I have been unable to determine why.

Did not meet my needs. I couldn't get it to connect..

It worked as advertised. Tried to connect our back up Generac Generator there was no way to stop the 2.8 from booking up before the 5.0. So it would not go online. The real downfall it somehow manages to knock out our primary WIFI daily. Not sure if that is Xfinity with their own safety switch. When we unplugged the Nethear booster the problems went away.

I have a three story townhouse, the router is on the top floor. I needed AC protocol coverage further through out the house as well as to enhance the 2.4Gb bands for Alexa(Echo). As soon as I installed this unit it worked very well on both bands.

This little gadget does a good job of extended a signal that I feel shouldn’t need to be extended, but it is what it is. Easy to set up. Gives you 2 different levels 2g and 5g. No issues with loss of signal.

Before buying the range extender, the reception downstairs was very weak. After setting up the extender, the reception is very good.

This little extender really impressed me by extending my WiFi signal to my upstairs where the signal was poor at best. Now the signal is full strength. Recommend to anyone looking to have a wifi signal all over their home.

I have to keep on checking that wifi is on. Sometimes it goes off on the cell phone and I have to restart in the part of the house the extender is in and the green lights are all on on the extender. I can not get the 5_2GEXT set up and I called geek squad but no go. I have the 2.4GEXT but it turns off on occasion and have to restart. Most of time is ok.

Not a super strong reception but does help. Works ok for the value

I needed to get better reception to the basement play room TV, the addition of the Netgear Network Extender helped me solve the problem.

it seems to work at the time .i was trying to get better reception upstair but i think i got it to work heopefully . i have been too lazy to correctly set it up the right way. so we will see.

This extender took a little bit of time to get it working properly - directions could use a rework. After setting up, works fine.

I haven't been able to use it to make a good enough review on it. I think we needed a different extender because this one doesn't seem to do what we need it to do. We are still getting a lot of buffering and pausing when we stream videos downstairs. I will keep working on it since I think it is my error and not the extender itself.

A great buy for the back bedroom television. Better internet connectivity.

Seems to be working just fine. I will do more testing. I love Netgear products.
