Very compact

Wrong item

I plugged it in as instructed and right off the bat I realized it was not working as it should. I called the satellite group and they said that no outside items can be plugged into their gear and work. Sadly I then had to take it back. To be sure it is not the net gear that was bad it was it is not compatible with the internet providers gear.

You need it for your home if you have WiFi dead spots. I tend to move it around the house and sometimes install it on my patio.

Depends on what you need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After purchasing different styles and models of this wifi extender, I was finally able to speak with Geek Squad member and reviewing my problem in my home, became clear I have a dead spot and this type of extender was not going to work for us. The unit that has extender to plug into current router and then an extender that communicates through your home electrical wiring is what has worked for us.

Provides great internet connection

Also there are a few walls in between for the signal to travel thru. So far have had zero problems with this unit.
