When I went to get an extender, I had looked at different ones online. Best Buy had a smaller NetGear extender for a lower price. This one was not on the webpage. When I got to the store I saw this one, had more features and two antenna's. So glad that I purchased it. Now I have wifi in my detached garage, all thru my 1/2 acre back yard, and get much needed service on the porch. Easy to set up.

I purchased due to having my router in my home office, which is in the front of the house. I have a 4000 sq.ft. home. Before the purchase, we did not pick up the wifi in my master bedroom or bedroom upstairs, above master. It was easy set-up with easy instructions . I set it up in my upstairs game room and it picked up the router. As of now, I have full range of wifi thru out the house, including outside ,15' away from the house.

I purchased this because where my router is located is too far to consistently get reliable WiFi service on my front porch, causing my phone to drop WiFi and go to LTE. Sometimes I had trouble streaming to my TV in the front room. I decided to go with the Netgear extender. This solved my problem. With the app it is very easy to set up. Now when I have problems it is the provider causing them.

Reviewed this item online. Picked it up at my local bestbuy. Followed the directions and was set up and working in under 5 minutes. Works amazingly well to extend and strengthen my wifi signal.

Wi-Fi extender works great with my devices. It gives me plenty of signal on areas that were not picked up by my router. Easy to connect and it looks good. You won't go wrong with purchase of this device.

Doesn't set up quite as easily as the instructions suggest. I had to access my wireless router/modem from its website to recognize the range extender, couldn't just press the WPS button on my router/modem to recognize the extender. Had to do a search on how to do that. But once you figure it out it works great. People around the house seem to have less trouble connecting and the two wireless printers seems to work with everything pretty well aside from occasionally needing to reconnect with the extender via a password and press of the extender's WPS button.

Had some trouble setting this unit up but customer service helped me get it set up. Been working well since initial set up.

This extender gives a nice boost to my “dead spots”. Easy to set up, plug it in and you’re good to go. Definitely recommend if you have areas with low reception on WiFi. Great purchase.

This product is easy to set up and extend wifi pretty good

We were having problems with our wifi on a floor above where our modem was located. We installed this product (which was easy to do) and now have a strong signal throughout the house.

Relatively easy setup, good wifi distance, and gets the job done. Glad I purchased it.

The Netgear AC1200 was fairly easy to set up is working great for us! I can sit out on my patio now to do work and get excellent signal strength

Fairly easy to install works great for dead spots we had in our basement. It does exactly what we need it to do. Would definitely recommend

This thing works great! That is if you hook it up correctly. I followed the instructions and hooked it up that way and it actually did not work or show up in my wireless networks. I have a little bit more knowledge than the average computer person so I was able to go straight into the settings of the network extender and hook it up that way. Once I did that it shows up in my available wireless networks and it has worked great ever since. The speed on it is plenty fast to run devices like ipads and phones and such as well.

I use this to extend my Netgear Nighthawk to a building next to my house (~just a few yards from the house and ~20 yards from the Nighthawk as the crow flies, through couple of walls), and another building across the yard (~30-40 yards away from the Nighthawk), I could pick up my primary wifi signal in the closest building, so put the extender there. The extender provides a more consistent signal in that closest building and a decent signal in the farthest building. Very happy with the purchase and setup was a 10-15 minute piece of cake.
