My smart tv is downstairs and my cable box is upstair. This is plugged in middle of both location. If my my 2 kid are using their smart devices up stair my extender don’t work well.

I misunderstood what it does
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It works fine - BUT, I misunderstood the idea of an extender and what this does. It is a separate account of WiFi in the house, it does not simply extend the range of an existing Wifi account log in. Additionally, it has separate accounts for 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz, so you need to choose one, it doe snot auto switch back and forth. I was hoping to have ONE Wifi account in my home, and this extender would simply strengthen the signal across the whole area, instead, I now have 3 accounts in my house ( my original, the extender's 2.4G channel and the 5.0G channel) Not what I was hoping for.
