It worked to boost my wifi

Good wifi booster for rooms away from your router

Great Wi-Fi extender

Just for people in large homes where they had dead stops it will extend the signal but does not make it any stronger. Very hard to setup.

The 5g is spotty, but the 2g works well. Connections are ok, but again it seems to just forget our network from time to time.

Kept Dropping the Connection

WPS auto setup with an Arris Comcast Modem did not work. Had to manually do the setup. Once that was done, it connected fine. However, after about 10 minutes of running it dropped the connection. I reconnected several times and each time it kept dropping the connection after a few minutes. I'm pretty tech savvy but couldn't be bothered trying to get this to work so I returned it. Bought a higher priced D-link DAP-1860. WPS was still an issue with this unit but after manually setting up it connected and has been connected now for 24 hours. Plus the signal is stronger than the Netgear AC1200.

WIFI extender for smaller homes

My installation in a 2-story 2500 foot home probably stretched its capability. I found a better solution elsewhere and will sell these.
