Got stable connection while using my laptop far from the router

The item I received was clearly used and returned. The box was already cut open, it was packaged poorly inside the box, and there was no paperwork with it (no instructions or anything). Also the Wifi extender was already configured for another router and had someone else’s username and password saved to it which caused all kinds of issues. I had to go online to figure out to to reset everything to factory settings and then also go online to find instructions to set it up. The whole process took about 1.5 hours, which is ridiculous. To be clear, the item itself is not the problem. Once it was finally set up it works great, so this rests solely on Best Buy’s shoulders, not Netgear’s. I paid for a brand new item, not someone else’s used trash. The only reason I did not return is because I got it to work eventually and I figured if I exchanged it that Best Buy would just send me another used/returned item. I generally go out of my way to do business at Best Buy instead of buying from Amazon or someone else online. Best Buy better make this right or I will go elsewhere in the future.

Works as advertised-no complaints from daughter "the wi-fi doesn't work in my bedroom".

Got great connection in a 2100 square foot house and my boys are big gamers.

I personally haven't had issues but my wife who uses the device a bit more than I do has had a few issues. It works but not as good as our router downstairs.
