    I know it’s hard to believe but connecting the extender messed up my connection. I had great connection with my 2.4/5ghz thru xfintity already but I wanted to add range plus help since I have so many devices connected. After about a week of using this extended my WiFi drastically declined. To the point where I had almost no connection. I am returning.

    Got this in 2 days ago and have been fighting it ever since. The setup instructions work OK, but as soon as you move the thing to a different room than your router, the throughput speed drops off dramatically. I moved it one room away, the indicator light was green per instructions, and the speed to the device looked good at first, but I noticed my laptop was considerably slower. Ran speed test to confirm. With a wired connection to my router I ran 80Mbps download and 21Mbps upload. With standard wireless connection directly to my router/modem I ran 27Mbps download and 20Mbps upload. As soon as I introduced this extender to the mix I started out at 16Mbps/11Mbps while in the same room as the router, and for every room I moved it away it cut roughly in half until it just kept dropping. The indicator light of good signal was always green though. I have a 2200 square foot house and this couldn't even work halfway across it. Sending it back.
