Get a mesh system

The reason it got a low rating is totally my preference in what I was looking for. I wanted whole home coverage. An extender just amplifies the signal, and you need to sign into this as a different network. That is a bit inconvenient. The set up was kind of a pain as well, took a while if you've never done it before.

not what i wanted

There is ALWAYS going to be the unsatisfied "1-star" raters. This time, they are correct, I am VERY disappointed in this Netgear product. At three weeks sitting in the same room as the extender we couldn't connect to the Internet on our IPhone 6's. I don't know if it's a software capatibility issue or not, but we have to use the main router to access internet with reduced connectivity in the farthest part of the house.
