Installation and setup was fairly confusing. Needs to be much clearer with some examples of what they want. Took me several hours to install and I'm still not sure it is optimally set up. This from a user who upgraded from a previous of the netgear extender.

I thought this would work for my PS4 to boost the signal for better online gaming. It did good for 10 minutes and then the extender would lose connection about every 5 minutes. I thought is could have been the PS4, but I disconnected the PS4 and tried a laptop and same results. Soooo the extender got sent back.

Saw minimal results with the product. Difficult to determine if the product or the cable provider is the culprit.

Using it to connect several wired devise, which are in a location with no wiring, in a rental. If it were my own home, Realistically, The cost is fairly close to what the cost to pull new wire would have been. It has worked fairly well. Roughly once every two months, I have had to power-cycle it, due to it hanging. Not a big deal though.

Having technical difficulties with the product

Great idea, but I'm having technical difficulties. The set up was complicated. Once set up as "secure," the network access reverted to unsecure. Now, every time I try to connect, it asks me to go through the product set up again. I've done that 5 or 6 times, but it never takes. I'm about to unplug it. It would probably work for someone who is very technically saavy. Hard to tell.
