This Netgear AC 1200 provides excellent range extension throughout my entire 3800 sq. ft. Home, including my garage & patio. The feature I like most is the green light that indicates when a device is connected. I highly recommend this unit. I have purchased other range extenders that offer weak signals to remote areas of my home, such as upstairs or the garage.

This product has been very helpful in extending the reach of the wireless internet in my old brick home. It requires the creation of a separate wireless network, and switching back and forth can be a pain, but it's better than no internet!

Used this product to extend an existing WIFI into my finished basement where I live stream MLB games. Was very easy to set up and works extremely well.

I was having issues with a dead spot in the other end of my house.... This model was highly touted .... Very easy to set up and immediately my issue was solved

Follow the directions and it’s easy enough. Seems odd to have to keep moving it slowly away from the source router though. It would seem like you should be able to gain signal in the room and then just move to the halfway point in your house but no. You have to move incrementally to your desired place.

Very easy to set up as Netgear has an app that allows a decent amount of configurations. The built-in ethernet port is very useful. The only reason i am giving it 3 stars is because the signal kept dropping. We had to play around with the frequency/broadcasting channels several times. I returned it and went with the NETGEAR - Powerline 2000 + Extra Outlet. Recommend this for environments without interference, like at home. It dose not play well in the office with Meraki AP.

This product wasn’t hard to set up. Once it was set up alll your devices were just as easy to connect to. Great product for large houses.

Needed it for security cameras. Two cams had 5 bars wifi, two cams had one bar wifi. Now all cams have five bars. Easy setup

I purchased these to deal with a dead spot in my office. Around most of my office, I can get > 100 mbps wirelessly; however, in this one corner where my laptop was docked, speed went down to < 10 mbps. This worked out very well for me. Initial setup wasn't the easiest of experiences with my network: 2 5G broadcasts, one 2G broadcast all with different SSIDs. However, once I was patient the sync process went through. This device also provides an ethernet connection in case you don't want to rely on the wifi extention this provides. This ethernet connection is what I ultimately used. Since setting things up, my connection has been flawless and my laptop is back to 100 mbps. When I changed my SSIDs, that made things a little tricky. I had to reset the device and deal with the setup process again. Overall it performs great once it's installed. Setup can be a little tricky.

This was hooked up in moments and my devices found it instantly and got me the extension I needed for the entire home.

Modem is upstairs and connected to desktop comp, extender is downstairs connected to TV, PS4 and iPad. Netflix runs without lagging and PS4 downloads are much quicker. iPad2 running like new again! With the 5GEXT feature, all our phones are connected to the extender. Instructions were pretty simple but it took a couple tries to sync to the modem.

This was an easy process to start it only took 5 minuets from plug in to start using it worked perfectly to get better WiFi to an area of my house.

Has been working with no problems for weeks! Super strong signal where there was none and I researched a lot before buying. Setup took a minute but doing it on my laptop sped things up!

I had slow internet coverage in my basement until I purchased this unit. Now I have fast internet in the whole house.

Easy to set up and really improved the Wi-Fi in the basement. Will get another for the other side of the house.
