Not much range extension

I plugged the extender in about 30 feet from the router hoping to get another 10 feet. It works occasionally...not much better than what I could pick up prior to using the range extender. Would not recommend

Added problems

Really confused the existing WiFi home network and a pain in the rear. I'm not particularly WiFi knowledgeable and may have set it up wrong, but next time wold buy one that did not change names.

Dissatisfied

When I first got it, I probably spent 20 hours during the course of a week j with customer support trying to make it work. It is now 93 days old. Doesn’t work anymore. Three days out of warranty. They won’t help. They offered one time tech-support for $29.95 or extended warranty of $78.95 which is the cost of a new one. Don’t buy it.

It failed to do the job on my second floor and thenit stopped working properly and calling Netgear's tech support was a literal pyramid scheme where they tried to sell you anti virus software plans. Fishier than Sea World.

Waste of time and money.

Made my wifi not work
