Customers are impressed with the AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender's ability to expand Wi-Fi range and its ease of use. Many also praise the strong signal, performance, and straightforward setup process. While some users experienced connection issues, the positive feedback regarding range, ease of use, and performance outweighs the negative.

This product has not improved my wifi. I also waited over a half an hour in the store for recommendations. I spoke to the manager for assistance and told him this is the second time I've received less than satisfactory customer service in his store.

This product is fair at best. It doesn’t really boost the wireless as I had read it would do. It’s fair at best.

I have had Netgear products before and have been very content with them. In this instance, I have an ORBI satellite system and needed an option to extend the WiFi signal to cover a dead zone. Unfortunately, this Wi-Fi Range Extender was (1) VERY difficult to connect and (2) did not work after spending more than enough time to try to get it to work.

This is not a mesh extender. It says "uses the same network name" but it's actually not. It adds EXT on the network name, and you have to force your devices to move to the extended network if they're in range at all- even with a very weak signal. The instructions are also garbage. The speeds on this are super slow- I have gigabit speed, and the fastest i have seen this extender do is ~50 mbps. even when it has good signal etc. Do not recommend.

I bought this to help extend my network in my apartment. The setup that the instructions gave didn't work and I had to go to YouTube to complete the setup. This extender has tried to become my modem and has caused my network to become worse. I will be purchasing an extender from my ISP in the future. Stick with extenders that are offered by your ISP.

No, just no. If there isn't a constant wireless device using the connection, it will just put itself to sleep. You'll need to literally restart it (power on and off) for anything to connect again. The wired portion seemed to not have this issue as often, but it still happened on occasion. (tried using it for my security cam wired base) The range is pitiful (literally could not connect my lock from 8 feet away) and the speeds are just embarasing. Go for TPLink instead.

This thing did what it said on the box and boosted my WiFi signal in a weak area of the house, but it was almost negligible--just enough to show up on the strength symbol, but in practice almost indistinguishable. I returned it.
