It has not been as reliable as I would have hoped. I live in a 2 story house and it just doesn't do what I would have hoped it would. wifi coverage has been very patchy.

Technician and salesperson thoughtbthis would suffice in my old home with plaster walls. Connected easily to network but couldn't provide needed signal strength.

I found out later that you would only receive half the WiFi signal when using this product. I would recommend that you buy a WiFi mesh instead.

I have the Netgear app for my router. Unfortunately my iPhone could not connect to the extender. My WiFi on my phone wasn’t able to find the extender. I manually attached the extender to an Ethernet cable from the Netgear router and still could not connect. The Netgear app showed the extender but the phone WiFi did not. I returned the extender.

So you really can't walk from one side of the house to the other without needing to manually change networks. Other than that it does work pretty well.

Not able to reach needed area without Extender timing out. Went back to purchase a different brand and less expensive.
