Bad product

Product made internet connection worse

Was disappointed that this product actually made the internet connection worse in our house so we disconnected it after a couple of days.

did not increase wi fi signal as expected

Drops 5gz signal constantly.

Unfortunately it drops the 5gz signal in about a day and the 2.4gz signal is unreliable for internet. And this is standing right next to the unit when it has a solid connection to my router. Power cycling works, but I shouldn't have to do it every day. I'm ashamed at the money I wasted on this. I get more stability via the weak signal from my router.

Interfered with the WIFI signal

Instead of expanding my WiFi signal, it interfered with it which knocked it out. I tried a dozen times to redo the set up as this is a common problem, but it just wouldn’t work with my router. I don’t know if it has to do with my AT&T router, or if the extender was defective right out of the box.

connected to the wireless quickly but

Extender not viable on phone, couldnt install

Im good with tech and did everything the instructions and app told me to do. It found the extender the first time but wouldn't find it every time I tried the steps over. I checked my iPhone settings too. Didn't see anything that would prevent it from being viable. I returned it immediately

Extends main network as different network

Disappointing Product

I ended up purchasing different brand and it works. Unfortunately, my time had expired to return the Netgear product.

Did the trick for a low signal in the garage

My wifi drops in the garage as soon as you close this metal door. Unfortunately, the wifi signal wasn't strong enough but once I connected via ethernet cable, problem solved.
