It was easy set to set. it works very I do not have any problems with it hold signal well. I stream TV with it an videos do not have a problem.

Just what I needed to extend my range. I have my original router on one end of the house and the extender at the other. Reaches every corner with no drop issues. Easy to set up , never had a problem with net gear. This isn’t the cheapest or most expensive and as far as range goes it was perfect for my application. 17000 square foot lot and covered every foot.

This extender did exactly what it was supposed to do, connected quickly, and provides internet all over my house. I bought it to connect my Ring doorbell and cameras, but unfortunately it still has difficulty connecting to them. I think that may be on the Ring device and not a fault of the extender though.

Easy set-up, took about 5 minutes. Works great, and without dropouts or cutoffs for sync failures like older models. Speed seems fine.

Almost a year ago I got a Apple TV at Best Buy but I could never get it to work consistently. My router was at one end of the house and the TV was at the other--denying there was a signal. A few weeks ago my son-in-law suggested trying a Wi-Fi Extender. A dashed down and bought this Netgate model because they made the router (also bought at Best Buy. It took him just a few minutes to plug into a AC socket nearer to the TV and WOW! Crystal clear reception. Now if I could just find something good to watch tonight... Mike Callahan

This wifi range extender worked really well for me. I lived in the lowest level of a 3 story apartment building where a shared router was in the attic. I placed the wifi extender on the floor above me and it was able to easily reach the original router signal while boosting it to my lower room. The connection could be a little inconsistent at times, but probably because it was going through many rooms and walls. Overall it got me my wifi and worked well on my laptop, phone, and xbox.

Easy instructions and a quick set up was a plus. Works great in my home with a dead zone upstairs.

Definitely learned never to buy cheap wifi extenders from amazon. i got 2 of these and they worked Great.

This does exactly what I need it to do. It allows me to connect my non-wifi enabled camera system to the internet without having to run a cable through the entire house to plug it into the router. This device has not dropped the connection at all since setting it up. Great product! The only critique I have is that my phone's VPN was preventing the app from working to connect the device to my wifi. The instructions didn’t suggest turning off my VPN. I had to search the internet for that solution. I would recommend Netgear add this as a recommendation when the app fails to detect the device.

The range extender works good and was easy to set up. I am satisfied with this product so far. I had a different company’s range extender previously and it failed to work within the first year and could not be used. This one hopefully won’t have the same fate.

This Wi-Fi range extender really adds quite a lot of range now to all our devices all over the house and works great. However I would advise you to call up the customer service department to help you set it up/ connect it to your primary router as the directions that they give you with the product are not the best. After trying to set it up myself for an hour or so and failing I finally gave up and called Net Gear customer service.The customer service guy made every thing go much easier and quickly over the phone.
