Unfortunately I am returning the unit, it didn't help with my range issue for the Ring Spotlight cam. However, the product did work well within the house which is why I gave it four stars. Anytime you buy an extender like this it really is hit or miss, every residence is different.

I still have issues from time to time but it's definitely better than before. Maybe there's something better out there but maybe I'm just expecting it to be perfect. It could simply be my service provider. Either way, I'd recommend this to others.

My initial setup seemed to be correct, but over the first few weeks of use, the coverage just seemed too spotty. I went back to the setup details and used the Web based setup instead of the WPS. This time it seems to have much better coverage.

Placed in my basement to extend coverage from router placed on second floor. Immediately saw an improvement in wifi coverage in the basement. Easy installation and connection.

When I went into store and talked to sales person about this device the sales person kept telling me this device was a band-aid probably wouldn't help that much. I bought the device thinking if it doesn't work I will just return it. This device worked so well I couldn't believe it. Crazy cool device. Usually I buy one of this type of thing and it is a piece of cr@p. I went from <>4mbps to better than 20mbps. Love it.

I have this installed in a split level home approx 2000 sq. feet. I still don't get a full strength signal but it has improved by about 25 - 40% (based on bars shown in Wireless icons).
Simple to install.

Bought this for my in laws as their service is very old and outdated and the WiFi can’t reach everywhere. It was apparently pretty easy to set up, their signal is better now. Not perfect coverage of whole house but it is definitely better. Would recommend.

The sales associate tried to talk me out of buying this and spending more money on a range extender that would "give me further range". According to him this wasn't worth the money. I figured I'd give it a try and if it didn't do what I needed it to I would just bring it back and exchange it for the more expensive model. I am happy to report this did just what I needed it to. Easy instructions, easy set up - no problems whatsoever.

This device worked great at it's price point. I wanted to stream TV in my detached garage but my streaming device was at least 100 feet from the router. I added this little guy at the back of the house and shortened that distance by 30 feet or so and it really helped my issues with buffering, etc. . . It also has an ethernet port so you can snap a cat 6 in it from your modem and have another wired access point slinging your wifi. That's my next step!

Often disconnects, but I was able to extend the wifi upstairs with an ethernet connection to it providing high speeds but not exactly as high as the ethernet next to the main router.

Our WiFi modem is in the back bedroom & our front bedroom was not getting wifi. The Geeks came to help install it. There were many steps to get it to work & I felt more confident with them doing it. It was placed in the dining room between the 2 bedrooms & it worked. So glad we purchased it.

We have a 3 level house with the modem and router in the basement. Our NetGear Nighthawk wireless router covers most of the house except for my son's bedroom and the bonus room over the garage. I installed the NetGear AC-1200 (very easy installation) in the bonus room and the coverage is now excellent. I chose to use it as an access point rather than an extender. It has its own network name (separate from the main router) but it doesn't matter. It works great! I am very happy with the purchase!

I'm a gamer so I bought this Wi-Fi Extender to get better signal in my room and reduce the likelihood of lagging during matches. It does do what it's suppose to, however my connection speed didn't increase by much which is why I only gave it 4/5 stars.

I needed a device like this for my wireless to reach the other end of the house. It was really easy to set up. I just have to select the extended network while in the back and it works fine for streaming video. I gave it 4 stars because The signal isn't very strong, but it is strong enough to run the video.

I’m more than impressed with this extender. I’ve tried many in the past, but this one is solid, absolutely no resets or drop outs. Price was good too. Unless you have a large house and no walls, it is impossible not to have a good extender, even if the router says otherwise. Technology is theoretical and relative. Being plug-in is certainly a plus and piggy backs off the router without stealing bandwidth, it extends through amplification. I love it and I work in the IT/IS field!
