Just what I needed for the garage. My extender is 150ft from the base unit in the house. It has 2g and 5g options. Pushing a full signal in the garage for a flat screen tv with chromecast. Using the IPad for car repair service manuals. I can link my phone and use the wireless Jaybird ear buds for music anywhere on the property while mowing and using the weed eater which is around 2 acres.

Helps to cover the hole house paying for internet and not being able to use it where ever you are in the house is not fun this will be the solution. I gave it a 4 because I have never tried any other. I’m sure there’s better but this works great.

Purchased in May 2017 - Good WiFi Dual-Band Range Extender - good signal. No problems so far.

Even with the frustrating process of setting up the extender, once it was up and running, it has been great. No more problems with tv losing signal or having full internet service in the farthest parts of the house.

I have a modem on an office in the 2nd floor and my working area is not directly beneath that office but about on an adjacent building joint by a breeze way between the two sections of the building. Never had a good signal and had to walk to the breeze way to get a decent signal. NO MORE. Plance the WiFi Range Extender on the Breeze Way and now my signal is strong all over. Try it!

First of, when it works, it works great, that being said, if your internet drops or you change you wifi password, be ready to factory reset it and go through all the install process again.

We live in a mid-sized 2-story home. My router is on the 1st floor, left side of the home while my new 4K TV is on the 2nd floor, right side. Began having buffering issues while watching Netfix. After setting up the ranger extender, my buffering issues went away.

This Wi-Fi range extender does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to setup in the matter of minutes. Once setup, you can move it without having to go through the setup again. That makes finding the optimum location very easy. Its priced in the middle of the pack but worth the money.

Purchased because i wasnt getting much of a signal at the back of the house. Placed it in the center of my dining room and works perfectly! I can now watch Netflix or surf without dropping the signal! Definitely recommend this unit!

My router is stuck in my office and my house has abnormally thick walls. My neighbor's WiFi had a stronger signal than my own in certain rooms in my house. The Netgear extender solved my signal (or lack thereof) issue. Easy & quick to set up and I don't have to change networks as I move through the house. I can now use my Roku in what was before a complete deadzone. I have been using the extender for a few months now and haven't had any issues. Recommend!

I bought the Netgear extender in June primarily to work with my Ring Spotlight Cam .So far works better than I thought it would . Best thing it also helped with other wifi items in the house. I always bought Netgear products glade I picked this one.
