This Wi-Fi range extender does exactly what it's supposed to. Easy to setup in the matter of minutes. Once setup, you can move it without having to go through the setup again. That makes finding the optimum location very easy. Its priced in the middle of the pack but worth the money.

I a Verizon Fios Router and was looking to improve Wi-Fi reception on the second floor of my home. I spoke with a Best Buy representative on-line who recommended the Netgear - AC1200. It was easy to install by following easy-to-read instructions. Wi-Fi extender works continuously without flaw.

My router is stuck in my office and my house has abnormally thick walls. My neighbor's WiFi had a stronger signal than my own in certain rooms in my house. The Netgear extender solved my signal (or lack thereof) issue. Easy & quick to set up and I don't have to change networks as I move through the house. I can now use my Roku in what was before a complete deadzone. I have been using the extender for a few months now and haven't had any issues. Recommend!

I bought the Netgear extender in June primarily to work with my Ring Spotlight Cam .So far works better than I thought it would . Best thing it also helped with other wifi items in the house. I always bought Netgear products glade I picked this one.

The new network extender is good I am familiar with it brand and I purchased it about 10 years ago so ours was kind of weak because over the years the series has gone from 2 to 5 so we had to upgrade to get faster service to reach through all the levels of the building so it is something good to get if you need speed and compact something that fits nicely in the living room behind the furniture and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

Recently built a 1507 square foot house and installed Comcast/Xfinity as our Wi-Fi. The Comcast router is located in the center of the house however we had Wi-Fi coverage problems in the front of the house. We purchased the Net Gear Wi-Fi range extender and plugged it in just outside of the bedroom in the front of the house. Problem solved! Wi-Fi is just as strong and fast in the front of the house as it is right next to the router.

We live in a split level house. The router is in an upstairs room. I have never been able to get internet service in my den. It used to be a carport so it is surrounded with cement block. I purchased this extender with not a lot of hope because I had bought other products in the past. I can happily say that this product fixed my problem. I am now able to watch Netflix in that room and work on a tablet or computer also. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought product to extend Wi-Fi to TV and second floor. Seems to work great. No issues and easy set up.

My home FIOS WIFI worked well from the basement, even to the 2nd floor. However, there were 2 blind spots in the family room and on the deck. This solved the problem without adding significantly to the technology in the home or extending the WIFI too far beyond the house.

this wifi extender works great. easy to install. now we can go on the internet though out the house.

When this works properly, my internet flies; however, it is fickle. When other devices connect to the initial router, it seems to receive less priority and has to be reset fairly regularly. I do like the option of having a direct plug for Ethernet access. But, basically, if you have multiple devices in a household, be sure to have a really high-tech wireless router to link this up with. That way, certain devices can access the extender, while others directly connect. Also, be sure to have a quality cable modem (and high-speed MPS upgrade which costs extra each month). If so, you'll better appreciate this product.

My wireless DSL router is in the basement and all the computers we use are on the ground floor. Worked great until we built on to the house with a two story addition. My oldest Son lives on the second floor and the wireless signal just wasn't strong enough to reach him. Had to hard wire a connection as a temporary fix. He requested a wireless extender, so we went to Best Buy and looked through the wide range of available products. Finally settled on the NetGear AC-1200. Placed it halfway between the wireless router and his room. Problem solved!
