I don't like that it's a different network than my 'standard' WiFi, so I mostly just use it for the phones in the house. I haven't had any speed issues.

Decent Home WiFi Extender

It works as expected providing a strong connection from my basement where the router is located up to my second floor bedrooms. I would give 5 stars but I think this item is a bit pricey.

Takes a few seconds to connect automatically and the light is orange pretty often (not connected). The plug is small enough to fit in small spaces.

Purchased this extender and it has been great for the dead spots. Good signal throughout the whole house now. Easy setup as well. Definitely recommend this product.

I actually placed the extender in the same room upstairs of my home where my signal was weakest. I now have a very strong signal on my MacBook and my Note7. Full connection. Great investment.
