Unfortunately, the only DSL line that is working in my house is at one end of the house so my DSL modem/router wifi signal obviously doesn't reach the other end of my house. This Wifi extender solves that problem without much compromise in wifi strength. I can go throughout the house without having weak wifi signals. I can stream FullHD movies without issues. It's also easy to set up.

The repeater was easy to hook up and works very well.

My old Apple Express was N speed and I was using it as an extender for my media center. Last year I upgraded to an Apple AC Extreme router but still needed an AC speed extender. I purchased this Netfear device and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of installation and compatibility with my Apple network. Since Apple seems to be abandoning home networking I plan to migrate to Netgear in the future.

This is a great product, very easy to set up and no issues with range at all.

Good mesh extender. Problem is lack of instructions in the box and instructions for installation in their website that are not clear. Price was fair and Best Buy matched a lower price found online. Once Netgear support was contacted, they made the installation simple.

Easy to set up and use. Enhanced our wifi throughout the house

This WiFi extender solved a dead zone problem in my home. We have an older ranch home it's not huge but we always wrestled with some dead zones because it's wet plaster and the WiFi signal couldn't penetrate very well. I put the extender in one end of the house and now the signal strength is great. I just wish the PCs we are moving around would automatically switch from extender to main router automatically.

Easy to install. Worked like a charm. No hassle at all

I was having trouble receiving signal from one room in one end of my house to another room in the other end of my house. I plugged this in to the wall and BOOM!! I was connected to the internet!! It was fantastic! It was not hard to set up. Just plugged into the wall and followed the instructions on my computer! Great product!

We are having issues with our Wi-Fi connection and the Netgear AC1200 helped solve the range we needed for our home. I had a hard time figuring out installing it but was able to do it anyway and everything was great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to extend their Wi-Fi connection in their home.

Overall it doesn’t work bad , it does help to extend the wi -fi to other areas of the house.

Easy to install get wifi in every corner of your house without compromising speed

Easy set up. Extended our wifi where we needed it. I would recommend this product to anyone. Only gave it 4 stars because I am not sure what else is out there that might be better.

Product works well, was easy to set up and makes my wi fi zones much better.

Installation took about 5-10 minutes. Extends range of 2.4 and 5 ghz networks across the whole house. The networks have dropped from the extender twice in the month I've had it, but a quick "off/on" reset brought them back online in a minute or two.

After looking at different WiFi extenders and their ratings on Best Buy website I decided on the NETGEAR AC-1200 because it had the best ratings for the price. The hookup was simple and the results were outstanding. I put this in because a brick chimney was blocking 2 rooms from a decent WiFi signal and after hooking up the AC-1200 I had strong signal in those rooms.

Product was very easy to sync with my router, and to position for best coverage.
