fairly quick wifi. Only issue is it would continuously drop my VPN connection, so I ended up drilling a hold in my floor so I could run an ethernet direct to my modem.

After ordering one from Amazon and returning it, I ordered this as my son had told me to. It was easy to get working with my router. Just plugged in and reset phone.

The Netgesr AC 1200 was easy to install and gave a strong signal.

My internet wouldn’t reach all the way to my room so I needed something to expend the signal. I decided to give this product a shot and it was the solution. Now I’m able to stream movies and play video games! Did not affect my interned speed at all.

got a netgear wifi modem/router, netgear wifi adapter, and now this netgear wifi extender...they all work well together to get me a strong signal in my home office onthe opposite side of the house from the router

better coverage 4k TV works much better speeds twice as fast in my bedroom

Coverage in the home has improved, but there are still spaces with a lower quality connection that I believe should have been covered. But, overall we are happy with the product. We may purchase another.

When I replaced my old router with this new Netgear device, the capabilities I now enjoy have increased exponentially. The new Netgear router has a much higher speed and I can stream movies on Netflix and surf the net with much greater speed. Technology continues to move very quickly and I am glad to have made this investment.

I had it the old model and just got this one! I like a lot !! Made a difference on the speed

netgear ac 1200 works great as an wifi extender great picture on my tv which before was weak signal poor picture my wifi base is upstairs the net gear extender placed downstairs given my tv a powerful wifi boost it was simple to hookup as an extender just watch the lights on the ac 1200 once lit your wifi signal is being transmitted great tool

Set up was amazingly simple. Bought the extender because my wife's laptop keeps loosing signal and just bought a smart TV with wireless connection. Works good on the TV, laptop still looses signal. May be the laptop.

I bought the AC1200 to extend the range of my AC1750 (C6300) Netgear router. My router, bought in 2017, is not of "Nighthawk" family. The AC1200 marketing info says it works with all routers... The setup instructions for the router involve using the Nighthawk app. I downloaded it on my iPhone and quickly found out my router (C6300) was not supported. I had to use my ethernet cable/MacBook to find the info I needed to set up the extender. Set up of the extender with the Nighthawk app was not straightforward. I had to return to the Netgear site for more instructions. After using the info, I could get the extender to recoginize the router. I had great signal, but did not have internet access. The third time was a charm. I was able to get access to the area I need. But, the wifi shows up as "Mesh" on PC and then the correct name on my Mac. The problem may be of my 5-year old router. I know wifi security has improved since then, but I found it distressing to have so little info from Netgear on this matter. Seems like Netgear products would play nicely together. I am leaning toward a new router with a larger coverage area. I would then return the AC1200. Bottom line - the unit seems as if it will work well with the Nighthawk family. Other systems may not be successful or reliable.

Product performs as stated. Easy to set up and link to laptop and phones.

Overall it doesn’t work bad , it does help to extend the wi -fi to other areas of the house.

I have a big 3000 Sq ft house and Router was nt covering the far lower areas specially where the kitchen is because of the appliances. I paired it with the router and put it just a room before. Oh Boy what a difference it made. I get exellent connections on my devices including smart TV. My router is on the upper floor by the way. Go for this extender without hesitation.

Dramatically improved the signal for my Wi-Fi. Increased range and signal strength. Good value and reasonably priced. Great in store assistance knowledgeable and friendly.
