I needed a simple wi-fi extender to reach into one far room. The price sold me on this one. So far, it works just fine.

Our modem is in the basement and didn't reach through the entire house...this extends through the upstairs and into the garage. No more lagging videos, etc. Highly recommend for the price.

Product increased my signal strength by about 75% from my wifi at my normal point of use.

My router is downstairs so my Netflix for upstairs bedroom would delay often but not anymore with this extender. Works good and very easy to set up.

Prior to purchasing the NETGEAR - AC1200 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Range Extender I was losing connection multiple times every hour. Now I never lose connection due to lack of signal strength.

So I bought this for streaming Netflix and gaming on a PS4 that's out in the yard away from the main router. It drops internet frequently, but I don't have an ideal location to plug it into halfway. When I was using it in the house it worked great. So if you're trying to get whole home internet, put it about halfway from the system and the router and you're good to go. I would not recommend if you are trying to extend wifi to your entire yard for streaming. It has frequent loss of connection.

Was unable to get WiFi in my garage. I placed this in the garage and now I get full bars in the garage.

Opened out of box and was set up in less then 5 min. One button pairing made it real easy. Really liked it, it does work. My outside tv had full function on all apps.. Great Product.

I bought this product to extend the range of my current wifi and it works good for the room I need it for.

Fast… easy to setup.. deadspot in the house was gone but not all around the corner

I wasn't sure this was going to solve my problem with weak WiFi service in one area of my house and moving the router was not a real option for me. This was recommended to me by Best Buy staff. He actually steered me away from a more expensive device. One issue I had was that I didn't understand that in setting up the device it needed to be real close to the router. Once that setup was completed, I simply moved it where recommended in the instructions and the problem was solved.

I didn't have any trouble seting it up as a wireless repeater. Router is in closet at one end of house; repeater in an outlet midway to other end. Then the other end had a gooo=d and reliable signal.

Im not very tech savy but this was very easy to set up and use and our spotty wifi issues have gone away

Was getting slow internet speed to other side of the house. Bought the wifi extender and now I have better and faster speed.

Not great but a decent cheaper option when you don’t want to get into the hundreds.

This device was set about 35 feet away from my nighthawk wireless router, and outside my house. It has captured and seems to throw a decent signal so I can be at my neighbor's house, which is about 45 - 50 feet, and now get good signal.

Easy set up and works great as a wifi extender where I was getting no wifi in my house

The store clerk recommended the unit and it's fine. Expected WiFi to be more omnipotent throughout my home. It is -- often.

Even though the set up is a little confusing, the unit functions well and extends good WiFi signal to a previously weak area.
