Great addition to Comcast cablemodem

Expanded WiFi in our home

As I read instructions, our daughter and her older brother tried to set it up - Was NOT successful. Called our uncle who is “more technically/computer minded” and he was able to set it up without any instructions. Now that it is set up- it’s awesome. Exactly what was needed!

Works as advertised and gets a good signal up one floor and over a good distance - total probable more than 2 15x15 rooms.

Difficult to navigate the set up

If you are not familiar with computer techie moves then have someone set it up for you. It does the job for which I bought it and the price was not too high. I would recommend the Netgear Orbi instead, it's much simpler, probably costs more but easier to set up.

Does what I need it to do

Once I read the instructions, it was smooth sailing. It's working great and holds its signal, and I'm glad I got it.

They say it’s made for a home, preferably one story, under 3000 sq ft in size. My home is right on the line as far as size goes. It took some hit or miss testing before I found the right spot to plug it in, but it has been working well since. If your home is larger, you’ll need something with multiple units.
