If you need an extender/ hotspot/ repeater this is the one I would recommend... I tested with my house and this makes up for just about every modem/ router with a weak signal and certainly fixes any zones where you might have gaps in coverage... I have a 3k sq ft house and can see this throughout the house, outside while working and in immediate neighbors houses!!! Very happy with product! I have used this for multiple years! I have used in my house , parents, in laws, and neighbors. All 100 satisfied customers!

This made a huge difference in the speed of the internet when on the lower level. After much ado from my ISP, with no resolution, this was an excellent fix and much less cost than another service tech from ISP coming out again x4.

Our cable modem/wifi is set up on the top floor of the house and we were experiencing significant disruption to the Sony Ps4 and the television set up down in the basement, which both have wifi capabilities. I chose this extender because it is one of the more powerful on market and I wanted this problem solved once and for all. We located it on the first floor of the house where it can receive the signal from upstairs and bounce it down to the basement level. The set up was very easy, less than 10 minutes. It works great and data tests show a substantial increase in data flow to the gear downstairs. My only complaint is the power cable has an odd protruding design at the plug end and is easily knocked out of the wall outlet, taking the extender offline. This has happened about 4 times now. Other than that. . . .

I still have a few non-wireless devices in my basement that needed to get connected to my network in some fashion since my router is upstairs. Hooked this up to my network. Hooked my devices. Everything just worked. Super simply let setup. Love it.

So far so good. We bought this model to replace an older Netgear extender that developed intermittent loss of function for no apparent reason. There are no moving parts. This model was easy to set up and has worked well but we have only had it for a month so it is hard to give it a rave.

my Comcast home unit provided abysmally terrible wifi signal in my condo building. the extra levels of bandwidth and the stronger signal made my wifi use at home finally frustration free......

This is an excellent router and I needed due to requiring a MESH capable setup for extending the internet through my home. The original part of the home was built with lathe and plaster and has three layers of chicken wire embedded in the plaster which makes moving wireless signal through the home problematic.

I bought this for my house which has 3 floor, it extend the wifi all over the house. It doesn't slow down the original speed, which is a really great thing

Easy to set up. The range on this router is terrific. It is set up at the back of my house and I can receive the Wi-Fi signal across the street at the school playground. Highly recommend!

Even though we have ranch home.. We have a pool and getting a signal out there was hit and miss, this extender worked as it said it would and the Best Buy rep was great help in store with my questions.. Thank you!! Excellent product..

We have a house that stretches a fairly decent distance, and the wifi we had could handle about half of the house. We bought this range extender and our 1 or 2 signal is now full from end to end. I highly recommend this range extender.

I love this WiFi Extender! It does everything I expected it to do. It was relatively easy to set-up, just follow the instructions and bam, you are up and running! During set-up, you can name the new extended network as you want, or Netgear defaults to naming it your existing network name with "-Ext" added to the name. In order to use the new extended network, you need to select this network in your WiFi settings on the wireless device. Once I got the hang of that, I really like my new improved home network.

For every day run of the mill uses this range extender is fantastic, as for modularity it sort of lacks with its simple GUI and required login which is all right but not needed. A few things I found missing since upgrading to the EX:7000 from the AC750 was UPnP and port forwarding options which reluctantly lost a star for its over all usefulness. Great product for home users a bit of a drag for missing UPnP and separate advanced options like in the AC750

I've tried several different brands and types of wifi extender. This was the easiest to set up. It works great, even with my ASUS router.

I was using the modem/wireless router combo ATT supplied and it's signal was just absolutely garbage. Luckily in my house there is a patch panel that allows you to hardwire into the router from diff rooms. So I was able to use the AC1900 as my main wireless router and I've had zero problems with speed or connection since. In fact I can actually get a reliable signal across the street in my neighbors house. Great product and well worth the investment.

Easy to configure. Just followed the setup guide. Immediately had a strong enough signal to stream Netflix movies without buffereing

Bought this in order to utilize wifi devices outside on a backyard patio where we never had coverage, even problems with Bluetooth. No problems anymore, does exactly as it claims. Very good product with very easy setup.

I bought this one year ago and it still functions perfectly. I have, and any given time, up to eleven devices connected wirelessly to my home network. I have experienced zero malfunctions and absolutely no noticeable connection speed issues. The range of this extender is impressive. I still get a signal from my mailbox to the far end of my back yard (a little over 0.25 acres). Setup was easy and straightforward. Lots of settings to customize your connection. Highly recommend.
