We purchased this when we moved to our new house as it was bigger and now had more than 1 floor. The extender works great, although it was not easy to setup and I’m pretty tech savvy. It does offer much greater customization than the more user friendly options though.

The extender works as expected however the wifi signal is periodically dropped. It will reconnect in a matter of seconds. I installed this to boost the signal to support my security cameras and it is working as intended. The extender has been fully operational for 1 month so far.

We had trouble getting internet out in our little trailer on property but this brought the signal up a lot

Bought this for a clients house that was far to large to get the signal through out the house. Works great with Netgear router.

Works wonderful in my split lvl home, everything has amazing signal. A little difficult to set up at first. Requires patience. Advance features and getting lines split and set up and running 5g requires advance efforts.

Easy setup. Put it downstairs with my consoles went from 50% to 100% strength. Recommended for anyone with bad wireless strength!

Our screen porch & garage are detached from our house and I've tried other cheaper extenders and the powerline extenders and they didn't work good enough to get us a strong WiFi signal, I was getting zero 0.83 mpbs with those. This Netgear Nighthawk Mesh Extender (EX8000) is able to get us the same speed as we have in the house (approx 80 mbps download) so we can easily stream hulu live TV etc using our apple TV device. You get what you pay for!

I purchased this to set up a secondary wifi network in my home for all my Alexa wireless devices. Works perfect.

This booster works very well with my home WIFI. Lets me search & design with a steady signal when reception is not great.

This mesh extender works great for home setup. really helps with connection problems. Seems t make our tablets, phones a lot faster.

I absolutely love this thing. I love the tri-band wife mesh ability. If you are familiar with other extenders, you have a different display/wifi network name that you have to connect to and create (e.g. NETWORK.EXT). This extender gives the option to just boost the overall wifi strength without having to create a separate network. Plus the fact that it has ethernet ports is a plus. It's fast and sleek as well, totally recommend

Love that this allows everything on Wi-Fi to use one name so you don't have to change between Router and Extender!! I found this one a little slower than my previous extender, but it could be my older computer!! Everything else seems to be great and a lot less buffering now!!

Had this Extender for approx. one month now and have found it fit for purpose. It has improved Wi-Fi range for the whole house and has the ability to enable one Wi-Fi Name making the connection to each device seamless. Connecting the device to the router was a breeze to boot...

It's great for extending the wifi range, I needed it because of the distance from my bed room.

I have a Netgear AC1900 cable/modem that gives poor wifi strength signal to mu upstairs office. Not really that far away but I guess floors, walls and furnace closet don’t help. Bought this extender and it does help, not full strength signal but enough to help. Easy setup.

Purchased this to extend my X10 router to the basement to stream 4k content. Works great and setup was super easy with WPS

Works great most of the time. Have had to reset it several times so far which is a pain BUT it does the job as needed
