    The (geek) agent showed up on time, did an excellent job (above and beyond), explained every issue, courteous, understanding (of my "tech" ignorance). Agent #47442 (J.Sobeck) gave me an E-Lesson I sorely needed in short time. Trouble: it took 2.5 weeks to get the agent "in home" to assist..

    Geek Squad Agent to Install Router

    We called Geek Squad and they selected a router, install it, train us on how to use, teach us troubleshooting techniques should we have to reset. Efficient, neat speedy........Showed patience as all 4 family members asked questions. The agent also tested all devices through out our home to insure they each received great reception. We plan to ulitize this service to insure our kids have the electronic tools they need to be successful. Excellent Service!

    I bought two products and the "geek" service contract to install them . The geek was late for our appointment, demanded that I contact Comcast before he would proceed, did not have the supplies to complete the contracted installation, I contacted customer service which acknowledged they had mis-coded the service invoice and rescheduled the installation with assurance that the new geek would have the material and expertise to complete the installation. The same geek was sent on the rescheduled service call. He was still (big surprise) unable to complete the installation. I returned the products and the geek contract and will reconsider any future Best Buy purchase.

    Maybe it is just me, but I was expecting a whole lot more. He basically walked in connected my laptop to the network that I has already set up and left. That was it. He wouldn't answer any question that were not solely related to the computer I had bought. So much for networking. The ad should have read, "Too lazy to click a few buttons yourself? Let one of our bellboys do it for you."

    I have had 3 different agents in my home for several different needs regarding wireless network setup, printer setup, and computer 'cleanup'. Every one of them was timely, professional and polite. It is just wonderful to know that there is a trusted place you can call when you need any type of tech assistance. They really know their stuff and knowing I can call on them brings peace of mind. I bought the one year tech assistance package and I already feel it was a great deal for the price!

    I've used Geek Squad services for about 8 years, and for the last 2 years for installations as well as service/repair. They've always done a good job. I rely on their expertise because while I can operate a tv, brd, computer, printer, if anything isn't just right, any stumbling block and I'm out of luck. This is a great service well worth every dime. I also like the two year Black Tie Protection plans, the stores honor them with no hassles, within the set terms.

    I wish he could have stayed another hour. He had to call someone to figure out how to set up my screensaver - but said it could not be done using all my 1000+ pics in Picassa. I played with it and finally got it to work, but I don't remember how I did it! Also, have no ability to use Microsoft Mail or just use WORD. I cannot find it. Why was I sent a notice that my Networking Warranty is up?? I just purchased it in June of this year?????

    The "geek" who came to our home was professional, knowledgeable and personable. Everything we needed was taken care of and much advice was offered as options and for future reference. Questions or issues beyond package definitions cost extra. Bummer If you can't make your system work the way you want, bite the bullet and call in the pros.

    I had a simple question i thought but all the geek did was sell me sometihing i was confused on. It was a shame becuase after i hung up from the Geek I called Apple and in less then two minutes the issue was resolved.

    This product was returned. If your so called "Geek Squad" had a clue, it wouldn't have been purchased at all. Setting up my new computer and discovered there was no sound. Called your Geek Squad and the woman, working on commission no doubt--told me I needed a $100 policy. Then she decided I needed a $200 protection policy, and for a year Best Buy would ONLY charge me $49.95 to come to the house each time. Called the computer's manufacturer, and the young man had me on the phone abpout 45 seconds. Asked for the computer's model number and said in a flash that the computer had no internal speakers, and that's why there was no sound. If I had listened to Madam Geek Squad, it would have cost me $350--PLUS THE COST OF A SET OF SPEAKERS. No thanks--I am totally done with Best Buy.

    Showed me how to set up my computer with two monitors and Windows-8 basics. Took some notes but should have taken more, so much has changed in the past ten years but everything conveyed was clear and understandable. When memory chips are available for my own brain, will entrust the implant to Geek Squad.

    The technician was very capable. I explained the problems I was experiencing with my wi-fi and he said he was sure they could be resolved. And resolve them he did. I am very impressed with this service offering.

    The person you sent seemed very capable, but he was late in arriving, said he had other jobs waiting for him, and spent almost no time helping me to understand the system. I paid for instruction on the operation of the system. He only showed me that it was oprerating properly. I would have appreciated a little help with things I had to learn by myself.

    Vince arrived on time, on October 13th and went about his work and he was great. He completed everything that I had hoped for and gave an easy to understand report and left notes to refer to, if needed later. The Best Buy I've ever had from Best Buy. One more reason not to buy online.

    I was at my witts end until I called The Geek Squad, asked if they made house calls, which they did. Internet is working and I have not had any problems since they fixed it. Should you buy this you say? If you have tried everything to fix it and can't and you need someone to come in where this is their expertise, then I say, absolutely buy this.

    Can not use it because my computer has a problem or something. Tried calling the Geek squad but the number they gave me did not work. Called the store and they told me it would be another $50.00 to come to my house. This Kindle is getting very expensive.
