Geek Squad installation was recommended to me by a family member, so we ordered it with our new big screen TV. Phillip and Anthony showed up on time, spent all the time they needed, and completed a perfect installation. They positioned the TV exactly where we asked them to place it, hung it on the mounting apparatus we purchased, and ran all the cables through the wall, for a completely clean installation. When it was discovered that I needed two longer HDMI cables, they had them in their truck. They simply went out and got them and charged them to my credit card on the spot … no need to wait or go looking for additional parts. These guys were very friendly and they did a marvelous job!

My wife and I purchased a new Samsung Q9 UHD TV , a Samsung sound bar, a Samsung UHD Blu-ray player , Harmony remotes and a Denon receiver for our home. The Geek Squad magically installed, set up and programmed it all flawlessly and explained everything in detail so we could get the most enjoyment out of every component. These items were available for purchase at other retailers but what made the entire experience worthwhile was the patient, professional and caring service that the Geek Squad provided. They were at our house the entire day and never seemed rushed to just get it done and move on to the next job. When they left We felt that We were genuinely appreciated as customers.

As stated, so far this Samsung 65" 4K Ultra Smart HDR TV is giving us great optic's, size of viewing, color pallette's, pixel display's, lighting options so far. Amazing compatability with internet and Samsung phones, cable options, plug-in & integrated, wi-fi, options. Sound is OK, but you're going to want to amplify the signal on movies & Music Channels. If you use the economy lighting option's the picture is noticably darker. The 2 crew Geek squad was very helpful, communicative & professional. They were prompt, respectful, contacted us several times to determine best arrival options and cleaned up after completion. Their knowledge of product and procedures was thorough & offered great advice for future options. So FAR !, our Best Buy experience has been very good. I DID do allot (6 months) of reading reviews, scouring blogs, etc.... ping-ponging on final price research before purchasing. Bought the full 5 yr warranty because its a large expense for us and don't trust new technology. I do feel its somewhat overpriced & generally speaking the industry is taking us to the cleaners ! So FAR, we remain cautiously optomistic that our great TV experience will continue :)

We ordered a new TV and I have 0 skills when it comes to installing wall mounts. Enter the Geek Squad. The guys who came to my house delivered the TV and grabbed the wall mount I bought out of the box and they were off to the races. They clearly knew what they were doing and even though my walls gave them a bit of an issue due to some metal plating, they had the TV mounted securely in no time. Friendly and professional I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone the least bit concerned about mounting a TV themselves.

I would not have attempted this install on my own. The Geek Squad to the rescue. Two technicians arrive with our 50" TV ready to install it to the wall. Once in the house the techs used covers for their shoes an proceeded to install the TV. Two holes had to be cut in the wall to run hidden wires, using tools that they brought with them. The TV was mounted, the wall and floor were cleaned and vacuumed. After the installation the technician took time to explain the options and the TV remote giving us one heck of a picture for our viewing pleasure. I would highly recommend the Geek Squad for any of the home or auto services you may need.

Purpose to install Samsung 65" 4K Q9F TV on existing mounting on brick FP wall, remove 60" 1080p 3D Samsung to MBR on stand..Remove and dispose the spare br 50" plasma Pioneer Elite tv and wall mont hardware. Replace with the tv existing in mbr, a 53" Sharp Aqueos tv.. It was made to look easy when the team knew how to do it all. All is working perfectly, on their only trip to my home.That being met with unanticipated challenges they breezed through. Thank you for sending your best!

This 8F QLED from Samsung was a being compared to OLEDs and similar sizes from LG and SONY. They are all a bit pricey but in the end - after seeing all sets in both stores and home environments - the Samsung came out on top and I'm very selective about these things. It's an almost perfect picture - it replaced a relatively new LG which ended up in another room. Contrast and deep blacks are great even at angles away from direct viewing. Backlight LEDS, strong upscaling, and high native refresh rate helped push this TV to the top of my list. It has a host a features - it's worth the spending jump from the Q7.

This is my 1st time using the Best Buy Geek Squad service, mainly for mounting my 75 inch TV on the wall. The overall service was great. You will receive a text message regarding their time of arrival and usually they will give you a 4 hour window. They arrived within the 1st hour of my schedule and the installation took less than an hour. They will carry your TV to anywhere in your house as well as unboxed and dispose of the TV box for you. Overall I'm very satisfied with the professional service that Best Buy Geek squad provided and will definitely utilize this service again in the future.

I bought Geek Squad services to mount my new 55" Sony TV on the wall. A team of two technicians performed a site survey a few days before the installation to check out my home theater set up and recommend any new equipment or cables required. I purchased the recommended cables from my local Best Buy store ahead of time. Two technicians arrived as scheduled and mounted the TV. The mount included in wall cables. The crew installed the apps for the TV services I subscribed, activated them and set up everything as desired. They removed all packaging and cleaned up after themselves. It made installation of my new TV very easy.

The two Geek Squad members, Sonny and Pat, were absolutely an outstanding credit to your organization. The took a complicated and costly situation and explained to us exactly what they were doing and why it was necessary. They were patient with us as we are not knowledgeable about electronics. They, especially Sonny, are great. Sonny gave us his business card and even answered a phone call after hours when we had a glitch in the operation of our system, and he solved it immediately by asking a few questions and telling us what to do. THAT IS OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

The Geek Squad appointment to install our TV was between 12:00 to 4:00pm and they called around 1:45pm and advised us that they will arrive in 15 minutes, which they did. They completed the installation and set up of our 55 inch OLED TV in less than an hour. They were courteous and knowledgeable and asked us if we have any other questions which at the time, we did not so they left a card and phone number to call in case there is any issues, concerns or question. It was a pleasant experience. They even put shoes cover before they enter our home which i very much appreciate.

My installer was Scott Kirkdorffer and he really knows his stuff! He's not only familiar with how to wall mount a huge TV but he also knows the highly nuanced world of hi end video! He installed my new Sony Bravia and Sonos home theater system. I already had a Sonos system running throughout my house and he was able to add the home theater units to the existing system quickly and easily... with A LOT less aggravation than I would have encountered trying to get it set up alone! Scott's communication about arrival times was clear, concise and timely... overall an excellent experience!

The gentleman that showed up for this install was phenomenal! He took his time and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. He even corrected the mistakes the previous Geek Squad installers made (they never set up our sound bar and even installed the legs on it so it would sit up properly). He was on time, courteous, cleaned up every scrap of trash/dust, was kind, answered all of my questions, and didn't rush through any of it. If I could make personal requests I would request him each and every time!! He is a wonderful asset to Geek Squad!

I bought a wall mount for my 65” TV and having no idea how to mount it myself hired the Geek Squad to set everything up for me. I’m so glad I did. The techs arrived exactly when they said they would, mounted my TV exactly where I wanted it, got everything set up and made sure it was working properly and they even hid all the cords! The TV looks great and best of all it’s level, it’s stable and I didn’t have to drill a million holes in my walls to do it myself. Thanks for taking all the work off my shoulders guys. Do you hang Christmas lights?!

I needed to get my TV installed and I did not want to damage the TV or damage my wall. The Geek Squad showed up on time, and ready to roll. They installed the TV exactly where I wanted it. They installed the sound bar and tested all of the equipment. They gave me a tutorial on how everything worked, and merged all my remotes into my existing universal remote.Their professional installation was way better than I could ever do! They removed the hassle and stress of setting up the new system.Thanks Geek Squad! My wife is very happy:)

I am unable to find the card for the two young men who mounted my TV and completed the set-up. They were extremely knowledgeable and worked well together. I was very pleased with the service. However, working with Geek Squad to set-up the appointment was not a great experience. They were difficult to deal with and provided very poor customer service. The five stars provided here are only for the technicians who did the TV set-up. Geek squad needs to work with there customer service representatives who are scheduling appointments.

Excellent product. Crisp, clear and an amazing picture. The first install and set up of my TV was from a third party, TV Guys. They didn't do a great job, as they neglected to leave the TV stand and manual that came int eh box. We contacted Best Buy and Geek Squad and a store manager in Manassas (Phil) went above and beyond to make things right. Geek Squad came out and solved the problem and we couldn't be happier.

This was my first experience using Geek Squad, I was very satisfied, the guys were on time, courteous, very professional and knowledgeable and respectful! They did the job right, explained the use of the product I bought and I'm quite pleased with them, absolutely well worth while using them, a bit pricey but you're getting what you pay for with them! Anytime I buy something that requires an install, I'll definitely use them! Some of the best money I've spent! Kuddos to Geek Squad, you're my new go to guys!

I have had these gentlemen at my house for other dealings in the past. One is more extroverted while the other is quiet, but he's amazing with what he does. They both are amazing guys. The quiet guy got my sound system to sound so perfect it is tremendously amazing. He needs to not use the microphone set up, he sat down in my spot and kept adjusting and adjusting and adjusting until it was perfect. I am amazed as my system sounds better than it did in the Magnolia room. Thanks Phil and Art, you guys are the best, and I greatly appreciate you.

We purchased a 75 inch Samsung and decided that my tech knowledge might be overwhelmed. Due to the holiday season we had to wait a couple of days, but it was worth it, the guys showed up on a Sunday morning, installed this monster on out existing stand, recommended a different cable for the hook up of the DVD and had one on the truck, programed it to work with both the Samsung and the Comcast remotes, cleaned up the packing and left us satisfied customers, couldn't have asked for much more than that.
