Overall the laptop is fantastic. I love the feel of it, it physically gives me the impression that its worth what I paid for it. The backlights are beautiful and its hard to separate myself from it. When I'm running games I can definitely hear it a little more than if I am just browsing the web or even running a virtual machine but it doesn't bother me entirely. I guess the one thing that's keeping me from making it five stars is just as all the reviews I have read have said, the laptop WILL run hot. Before storing it in my case and going anywhere I need be 100% certain that its off or just not running anything intensive or it'll get hot quick. Likewise when I'm gaming on it I specifically bought a cooling pad to use. This you can assume with just about any gaming laptop but I guess I was hoping for a little more considering the price tag and the brand. Outside of that for basic use I am very comfortable using it anywhere and have found it to be a great replacement for my gaming PC that has grown outdated.

Great performance, however, that performance comes at a price. The metal casing really absorbs the heat and spreads it out across the bottom. You cannot use this directly on your legs while gaming. You will get burned! Outside of that, amazing product. Buy a laptop cooler and game away!

I mainly bought this PC for VR games and productivity with video editing. Playing games has been smooth while plugged in, if its not on the highest performance setting then performance will suffer in game. However, the video editing does not take a hit. Both work very well when plugged in, the only only gripe I have about the device itself is the battery life. It lasts about 3 hours on high performance mode, otherwise it lasts a good 8 to 9 if just streaming content and the like. It also gets VERY hot in game.. but it manageable and I haven't noticed any damage due to the heat. But overall, its a great mobile machine and design quality is beautifully excellent.

This is a great machine and was a good deal. I did end up returning it as the fans were louder than I expected and the keyboard/palm rest got hotter than I like for everyday use. The build quality of this machine is top notch, for a gaming machine it’s hard to beat when it’s on sale like it was around Christmas.

Bought this laptop because I needed a portable machine to handle Solidworks, Keyshot, photoshop, sketchbook pro, illustrator, InDesign etc. Etc. I’m an Industrial Design student at CSULB and this laptop was recommended to me by the sales guy at Best Buy. I got an open box one and saved a few hundred dollars. So far this laptop has been awesome! I am now a Razer fan, but I don’t play games on it all haha. Personally the green snake logo on the front looks dope! I like the stealthy black look on this laptop. Don’t use it with greasy fingers or it’ll show up tremendously. There’s a cleaning cloth included that helps remove finger print marks. Quality seems really good! The laptop is fast! And doesn’t get super hot like others have mentioned but I’m also not playing crazy games on mine. However, when running solidworks and doing keyshot renderings the fans kick in sometimes it sounds like it’s gonna take off. Overall I’m stoked on this and I plan on buying a desktop soon so that the life of my Razer laptop can be extended.

Great laptop. Super fast. Well made. 2060 is plenty of gpu for my needs. Not a heavy gamer - but would like to play a bit from time to time. For the price, I couldn't find anything else with the same features.

Razor rules in gaming systems be they laptops or desktops. So far all working satisfactorily as was expected. Fast start up, smooth gaming, excellent refresh rate and visuals. Very happy with video card and Intel cpu in regards to speed and temperature regulation abilities.

Wow! Upgraded from a Lenovo and this thing takes anything I throw at it. Great screen, keyboard and SSD. I have played a few games and all shined and for my regular work it is great too. Fans do kick on at random times and you can hear them but they are not super loud.

I would only recommend as a desktop replacement. battery life is awful (about an hour). laptop was extremely fast. has a slot for a secondary m.2 slot

Overall quality was amazing, I was amazed at just how great the video quality could get on a portable laptop. The size and weight are ideal for portability, only downside would be the battery, max i could get without gaming would be 3-5 hours, under light use. I later returned it for a gaming pc, mainly because there are no options later on to upgrade GPU or CPU, and if you're going to drop over $1500 on something it should ideally be the one that has more upgradability. It ran most games at max settings but was not able to run everything at max, a gaming pc for the same price could get you a 2070 super, and trust me, the difference is astronomical.

Gotta love razer blade laptops. The built is amazing and the laptop was really fast. Only complain would be the keyboard, very low profile. Not used to it.

Overall, amazing computer. One big drawback however is the loud fans. It gets very hot and the fans are super loud when playing games. Besides that, it's great!

It’s a good pc but for the money there is better options first complaint is it’s not VR ready don’t let the specs fool you it’s type c port is connected to the intel graphics and doesn’t support a oculus. Second the gestures are extremely annoying I almost failed a test because I fat fingered a gesture and exited my tab. The screen is beautiful and if you use external keyboards and a mouse I recommend if you really use the Laptop with no other accessories I suggest a Alienware m17 r3

Love the speed and graphics it offers. Only negatives is how hot it gets on the keyboard and wish it had more hard drive space for the price paid.

The frame rate is impeccable!! The graphics card is a beast!!! And everything is nearly perfect. However battery life and the sound of the fans is a little overbearing.

This laptop is amazing 1 year with it and it’s still going strong the only issue I have with it is it’s price.

I have always wanted a Razer Laptop. I saw this one for $500 off at Best Buy and finally got it. The sleekness and lightning are very nice. Top notch build quality and speed. I highly recommend it!

I've been looking for a windows laptop with similar build quality as a macbook pro. This laptop fit the bill perfectly. All round build quality was great. Screen, keyboard and trackpad are awesome.
