This camera is very clear and notifies quickly when motion is detected. It works well at recognizing motion and usually only notifies me if it's a person with few false alarms. The only downside to this camera is the zoom quality. It won't clearly display details like license plate of my truck parked 15 feet away. All in all it's a good camera for the price.

Easy to install with ring app guiding you every step of the way. If you can, just wait until this goes on sale or comes in a bundle. Nice to have as an additional camera to ring subscribers. Battery does last depending on usage (live view, lights, mic, notifications etc). If you dont like taking the battery out to recharge, i recommend getting a solar panel, particularly from a 3rd brand from amazon. Itll perform just as well, but at a more affordable price point online. Great camera overall

It was easy to install,very clear picture, a wide range to view a large area. Also like the light feature helps seeing clearer at night. The battery last a long period of time.

Easy to install, very simple setup and user friendly. Solar panel combo is the best. Installed at 35% battery when it was 55 degrees and it charged itself to 85% by next evening

The battery life is great. It lasts about 3 weeks but we don't use the light feature. We bought it because there were porch pirates who would regularly steal packages in our neighborhood and it is great at capturing anyone or anything the goes by! I'm very happy with it

This camera works well, has night vision, the view on the has camera is wide angle, and the videos are good quality.

I use this camera on my garage that's a distance away from the house. It works great and clear picture. I've owned it almost 2 yrs and haven't had a problem.

I love the ring camera and security system. Every purchase and addition to my cameras has worked exceptionally well without issue. It's simple and easy to install and add accessories or more cameras as you have the need.

Wow, this ring cam amaze me no wonder why theres so many people buying it, i got the ring spotlight cam plus with battery, at first i always charge my battery every 2-3 weeks but now i install solar powered on it and its there forever without charging it over and over again, the camera is so clear that you can see everything, i will buy it again for sure!!! 2 thumbs up, would recommend this 100 percent

This is highly rated for a reason. I tried a different well known brand of camera for the outdoor and it turned out to be a complete waste of money. Don’t be like me. Just get this one. It’s really good, very responsive, can hear the voices very clear, and doesn’t disconnect for no reason. The quality is super good on this one. I highly suggest getting a solar panel for it so you don’t have to keep changing out the batteries. The solar panel doesn’t have to be the same brand as long as it connects. I got a third party brand for the solar panel (that brand starts with a W) and it works perfectly and came in a two pack! Just make sure your ring battery is fully charged first and then the solar panel does a great job in keeping it topped up. Do not try to go in with a half empty battery or something expecting the solar panel to charge it up. It’s not how that works! We went in with a full battery, connected and put up the little solar panel. It’s literally been 3 years at this point. We’ve never had to recharge the battery, it’s always being topped off by the solar panel. Granted I live in a state where it’s mostly sunshine. YMMV if you live in a place with much longer winters and less sun but it’ll still be great. You’ll definitely still have to charge it less than if you didn’t do the solar panel (unless you straight up wire it to your house). This camera is totally worth the investment, especially if you already have a ring doorbell and monitoring service!

This are really easy to install and the graphics are really good.. well if you do have good wifi yes but other then that these cameras brand do it all rain proof and hear resistant cant beat that plus for the price its worth it i recommend getting one your self im out of town and this gives me notifications on anything that moves so i feel like im home while im not.

I live alone and as a older woman i wanted this for my driveway. Very easy to set up and i bought the solar panel, so as not to deal with batteries. Works fantastic. The worst was carrying the ladder to the frt of the house, but i did this all by myself. Great view.Easy to install.

This spotlight is a perfect fit for my mother’s backyard and backsides of her house. Very broad view and I love the ability to pick up colors around light sources in night vision mode as well. Added additional batteries plus a solar panel for each to keep them fully charged.

Works great highly recomend, picture very high quality.
